Yup, this is going to be an all-in pledge for me for sure. Love the terrain, and the gameplay. I am looking forward to finding more about the narrative that's in the game, and what the campaigns are like.
Just played Core Space and learned that First Born has more lore/story/RPG-ish stuff added to it. Now, I'm wondering where Maladum ranks with regards to that...on par with First Born? More even cuz it's fantasy? I'd love to see more interactivity with furniture (and just more of that anyway) as well! Thanks guys for the demo! It's gonna be great!
You need to pick up the awesome hardcover rulebook for CS and Dangerous Days extended rules! Hopefully, Maladum will have a hardcover as well! I love my original CS one.
I didn't get too deep in the comments so maybe this was already addressed (or maybe even rectified late in the video) but wouldn't the searched tomb in the center of the dungeon be the closer spawn points for aggressors in rounds 3 and 4?... or did I misunderstand the explanation? Haven't had the set for very long yet [KS for the win!] and with as busy as work is allllll summer long, I'm still trying to watch/learn/read up on as much as I can before I introduce it to game day with the clan...
OMG Maladum is coming soon, long waited for this. Can you do some Core Space First Born Addons addtionally to the Maladum Crowdfunding? I guess many backer will ask for that. I do almost have everything for CS First Born, and with Maladum I will try to go all in, not making the misstake again. Love SC and I bet I will love Maledum too! Any hints when the Crowndfunding will start, approximatley?
Might be an idea for future how to videos is to paint the different characters bases a different color- and the enemy bases a different color- just so they stand out when looking down the top view- if you skip forward or come back to the video half way through- you got no idea where what is can you run this like a normal game in that you have a game master who creates his own adventures or is it AI type run
The 274 absolutelies make this a bit of a hard watch, but the game looks brilliant! Edit: Gets way better in the latter 2/3 of the video, if someone wants to skip forward! Hope the price increase in comparison to First Born is not too bad, planning to back this at a higher level!
I am a bit sad they kept the pressure system for a dungeon crawler. It all about exploring, with that system, you need to rush and get out quick. I am pretty sure it will be a fun game, don't get me wrong, i love core space, but it don't feel like a dungeon crawler for me.
More of a playthrough than a how to video. A lot going on here that's not explained which is a shame because it seems a little convoluted. Making me second guess backing it, personally. Also seems that the fate rides a LOT of the dice gods. Looks like it could be a bad time about half the time. The terrain and minis looks amazing though.

I hope to see lots of traps and non-combat things to encounter within the dungeons! That's always the best part of dungeon crawls for me.
non-combat encounters are so key but are often not present or are weak in packaged games

My guess is small talk and any clarifications, breaks for bathroom, drinks, whatever, stretching, or the like.

They redesigned the graphics on the player boards and the refined version looks much better.
Still on the fence about this one. I'm sure it's too late for this project, but the company would really benefit from hiring an art director.
