Well, I'm really glad you decided to post this up on UA-cam. I've been asked to play this song with a big band and they've given me the Bob Lowden arrangement. The drum part makes no sense to me at all and sounds nothing like the original or any of the subsequent versions I've listened to - so this is very helpful, thanks :)
That drum set has Remo quiet heads and Zildjian quiet cymbals. It's my online teaching set up. These videos are more a resource for my students than for mass appeal and I don't put any effort into them beyond printing the music and reading the chart. My goal when doing them is 30 minutes from printing out the music to uploading. I could set up a Noble and Cooley, Ludwig Super Classic, Yamaha recording custom to do these but it's not important for what this is. It is 2 overheads, snare and bass mic. These are primarily my students daring me to sight read charts and only became a UA-cam channel when social media would mute the videos for copyright issues. Thanks! Jc
I just record these on my online teaching set up. The cymbals are low volume zildjian and the drums have remo silent stroke heads. It is 2 overheads, snare and kick mics but I don't put a lot if time in to these. My goal on each video is 30 minutes from printing the music a student sent me to having it uploaded to youtube. In the future I may set up a real kit for fun. These are just videos to entertain my students. Thanks Ken, hope you are well!

Playing great, drum sound not so much. Recording equipment?

Cool vids, your audio needs to come up a lot. All of your videos are low in the volume arena. :)
