@@jcperc1 Nope, doesn't matter. I've heard 9th graders play the song with an amount of drive, power... well, feeling. Reading from score while trying to reproduce every single stroke kills just that. That's why it sounds like jazz or orchestral music, not like metal. You can literally hear him think before every single note. I'd suggest learning by ears and using lead sheet notation just to support memory.

Thanks for your expertise though, Hunter and I appreciate it. I do enjoy folks like you who troll the internet and criticize 14 year olds. Makes this all mean that much more. Haha!!! When we did this song for him, which is for fun, I told him and his mom(school teacher), that we would probably get some sort of “Pantera Expert” criticizing and making odd comments. I’m sure they are enjoying this as they will be reading these comments. Thank you for proving me to be correct. I am thoroughly enjoying this😁

Very well done! Rush songs are no easy challenge to tackle. The Professor is no easy act to imitate or cover. This was a great stab at a truly challenging song.
