    Hello sir I have a 11.5 years of sales experience in industries like Retail, FMCG, and paint, and want to move into BA profile. May I move into that, and will I have a monetary edge in that as well....

    • @TechcanvassAcademy
      @TechcanvassAcademy  3 роки тому

      Yes, you can. Several of our students have been from Sales background and have successfully transitioned. But it's not going to be easy for around 1 year and you may have to take a pay cut, not necessarily but possible.
      If you are fine with it, then go for it.

    Thanks for the video. I have over 5 years experience in areas different from BA roles. would you advise taking the CBAP or CCBA certification? Which is appropriate?

    • @TechcanvassAcademy
      @TechcanvassAcademy  3 роки тому

      If the experience is not related to Business Analysis, then you won't be eligible for CCBA or CBAP. So I would advise ECBA.

      @@TechcanvassAcademy Some of the experience are related to what a BA does but it wasn't a BA position/designation. Like I said, the experience is over 5 years (approximately 8). What would you suggest.

    • @TechcanvassAcademy
      @TechcanvassAcademy  3 роки тому

      @mateentech the designation does not matter. It's only about Business Analysis activities and for how long have you done it?
      Also, overall experience as well as Business Analysis experience matters. Only overall experience is not a criteria.
      You need 900 hrs of experience in any of the four BABOK knowledge areas along with overall 7500 hrs (5 years) of experience.
      Similarly, it is different for CCBA.

    I have more than 10 years of banking experience in various job roles. Will that experience count for CBAP examination

    • @TechcanvassAcademy
      @TechcanvassAcademy  2 роки тому

      Unless it can be categorized as Business analysis work, it wont be counted.

      Sir, Educational back ground is Accounting ( Hons & Masters) with 7 years Accounts & Finance experience.
      Will CBAP be helpful to career ?

    • @TechcanvassAcademy
      @TechcanvassAcademy  4 роки тому

      CBAP is only for professionals who have business analysis work experience. But you can use your Accounts and Finance experience (as a Subject matter expert) and get ECBA certification. This is entry level certification for Business analysis. So you can change to a business analyst profile. Later on, you can do CBAP or CCBA or even other certifications.

      You need to check the syllabus. MBA in Business Analyst may have programming languages as part of the course. In that case, you need to decide, can you learn programming? If yes, then you can choose.
      The MBA in Business Analyst is a course which covers many facets of Business Analyst.

      The Business analyst does not need to know programming as the role is more of a customer facing and requirements gathering role.
