Its important to understand the complete report of Semen Analysis in a proper way. Semen Volume for analysis should be on the average of 1.5 ml. Regarding the Sperm Count on Semen Analysis report , one thing is very noteworthy , if we talk about sperm number per ejaculate , the average is about 39 but the sperm concentration per ml is about 15x10 6 per ml. Progressive motility is 32 % and sperm morphology is 4 % on semen analysis report . The Vitality means (Live Sperms on Semen Analysis report should be at least 58% and the ph should be more than 7.2

Based on the information you provided, here is a breakdown of your semen analysis: Total sperm count: 35 million Percentage motility: 18% Grade A: none Grade B: 9% Grade C: 9% Grade D: 82% Agglutination: absent Pus cells: 1-2 Red blood cells: none Epithelial cells: 1-2 Morphology: Normal morphology: 80% Abnormal morphology: 20% Head defects: 12% Neck defects: none Tail defects: 8% Volume: 4.5 mL pH: 7.5 Color: whitish Based on the analysis, the following points can be made: Total sperm count: A total count of 35 million is considered to be within the normal range, although on the lower end. Motility: The percentage of motile sperm is low at 18%, while the percentage of non-motile sperm (Grade D) is high at 82%. This suggests that there may be some issues with the quality of the sperm that are affecting their ability to move. Morphology: The percentage of normal morphology sperm is 80%, which is within normal range. However, the percentage of sperm with tail defects is somewhat high at 8%. Other factors: The absence of agglutination is a good sign, as is the low number of pus cells and absence of red blood cells. Overall, while your semen analysis is generally within normal range, there are a few areas where improvements could potentially be made. If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for some time without success, it may be worth speaking with a fertility specialist to discuss potential treatments or interventions that could improve your chances of conception.

If a laboratory result indicates "no sperm cells," it means that no sperm were found in the semen sample provided for analysis. This can be a concerning result for couples trying to conceive, as it suggests that the male partner may be infertile or have a very low sperm count. There are a number of potential causes of a zero sperm count, including genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, infections, structural abnormalities of the reproductive system, and certain medications. In some cases, lifestyle factors such as smoking or excessive alcohol consumption may also contribute to the problem. If you receive a result of no sperm cells on a semen analysis, it is important to speak with a healthcare provider who can help determine the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment. Depending on the cause, treatment may involve medication, surgery, or lifestyle changes. In some cases, assisted reproductive technologies such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) may be recommended to help couples conceive.
The sperm need to be kept at body temperature to stay alive maybe? The sample needs to be at the lab within 45mins of ejaculation & kept at body temperature.
Hi sir Sperm per ejaculate 25mil Total count 25mil/ml Percentage motile 39percent Rapid linear 12percent Slow linear progress 68 percent Non progressive 20percent Sperm morphology 40 percent Kindly guide
Overall, your semen analysis appears to be within normal range, although there are some areas that could potentially be improved. Here are some key points to consider: Sperm count: A normal sperm count is generally considered to be greater than 15 million sperm per mL, so your total count of 25 million/mL is within normal range. Motility: A motility rate of 39% is considered to be in the normal range, although it is on the lower end of normal. Ideally, the motility rate should be greater than 50%. Progressive motility: The percentage of sperm with rapid linear progression (12%) is somewhat low, while the percentage of sperm with slow linear progress (68%) is somewhat high. Ideally, a higher percentage of sperm should be exhibiting rapid linear progression, which is associated with better chances of fertilization. Non-progressive motility: The percentage of non-progressive motility (20%) is also somewhat high, which may suggest that some of the sperm are not functioning optimally. Sperm morphology: A morphology rate of 40% is considered to be within normal range. This refers to the percentage of sperm that are a normal shape and size.

Based on the information you provided, your total sperm count is 98 million and your semen volume is 3.5 mL. Therefore, your sperm count per mL of semen is approximately 28 million/mL (98 million divided by 3.5 mL). A normal sperm count is generally considered to be greater than 15 million sperm per mL, so your sperm count per mL is within normal range. However, it's important to note that the total sperm count is just one factor in determining fertility, and other factors such as sperm motility and morphology are also important.
