Early 2014 before forming Telangana expect Hyderabad district none of the districts are not provided the basic facilities. Even in Hyderabad there is no proper electricity and water to every household for 24hrs. Quality of life in Telangana was changed after KCR begin his governance. 10 years before Telangana Percapita was on 11th and now 1st, Paddy production from 9th to 1st position, Telangana is now Rice bowl of India. There are so many achievements happened in last 10 years. Without proper governance these achievements are not possible. In City there is not required to mention the development happen in last 10 years everyone knows the work done in very fast pace for state undertaken projects. I accept CBN contributed but at the same time KCR government did better in making people living with quality standards.

Hyderabad definitely seems to be on the up and up, while Bangalore is falling apart on many counts. Now, Hyderabad needs to have the kind of startup revolution that Bangalore has seen. The political class of Telangana and Karnataka are diametrically opposite. Hyderabad improves no matter which party is in power, while Bangalore suffers no matter which party comes to power. @@Raldoeconomist1999 GDP, Employment and other numbers Benguluru is going to lead for long time. Any city/place as it expands it growth percentage reduces. Smaller/newer places will provide higher percentage growth. Once the city population (both Benguluru & Hyderabad) grows beyond 2 to 3cr, can't expect the growth would be the same. The near by cities/towns would start appealing more. Focus might shift to Tumakuru, Mysuru or even Krishnagiri (TN) for Benguluru and Jadcherla, Zaheerabad and Siddipet and new planned city for Hyderabad. Would this happen? It's already happening for a while around Mumbai (Navi Mumbai & Pune) and Delhi (Gurugram, Noida, Meerut).

Half of satelite town ring road of total length 280Km is already done. 280KM of suburban railway is under construction. Expressways to Pune, Vijaywada, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore are either done, under construction or in DPR stage. So your argument of , " Mumbai alone surpasses all cities in infra projects" doesn't hold any water. You just know about your city but forgot to check updates about others. Simple:) Regarding startup investments, almost half of Mumbai's investments this year came to zepto and guess where is it now? In Bangalore. As per that report, Mumbai recieved 3.4 billion and 3.2 billion was for Bangalore. Bangalore growth strory is so astonishing today that despite being 21st century metropolitan city , Bengalore metropolitan region economy is 78% already of MMR( 143 vs 184 billion USD nominal). I didn't even include other two districts in BMR for this number although bangalore as a city has reached those two districts. You include those, then BMR is already 87% of total MMR GDP( which includes entire districts of Mumbai suburban, city, thane, raigad and palgarh districts). With Bangalore being titled as fastest growing metropolitan region till 2033-35 by WEF, Savills growth hub index- it should be overtaking Mumbai in its nominal economic output by 2030-35. Just look at office space absorption and no Indian city is close to Bangalore. This year alone Bangalore absorbed 22 million sq ft gross. That's 7 million more than next city in list i.e Hyderabad. Today Bangalore economy runs on electronics, heavy manufacturing, IT, BT, startups, aerospace and other formal sectors. What Bangalore as a hill station achieved in this century to overtake a historical port city should be itself a case study for next generation. Bangalore is close to overtaking Mumbai than Hyderabad is to Bangalore. This is a fact which you'll know if you study economics survey of states, budgets and updates about Indian states.

If the other person doesn't know your language it's his problem he will suffer, let him suffer. But don't harass others to learn your language. You don't know if that person is there for a day or a yr. I visited Bangalore for a few weeks for work and some locals were rude to me as I can't speak Kannada. It gave such a bad experience.

I was in Bangalore for 8 yrs in my 20s..natural development of IT due to it's climate and wide human resources(talent) availability from 5 different communities(Kannada,telugu,tamil, malayalam and north Indian movement later).it is behind in creating enough infrastructure and vision...so poor in administration....where as in hyderabad is not natural . It had to be created by improving infra and attract investments and visioned by creating such eco system. I still remember how bangalore actual train stations are not utilised for local transport as it was done in hyderabad around 2000..

Early 2014 before forming Telangana expect Hyderabad district none of the districts are not provided the basic facilities. Even in Hyderabad there is no proper electricity and water to every household for 24hrs. Quality of life in Telangana was changed after KCR begin his governance. 10 years before Telangana Percapita was on 11th and now 1st, Paddy production from 9th to 1st position, Telangana is now Rice bowl of India. There are so many achievements happened in last 10 years. Without proper governance these achievements are not possible. In City there is not required to mention the development happen in last 10 years everyone knows the work done in very fast pace for state undertaken projects. The political class of Telangana and Karnataka are diametrically opposite. Hyderabad improves no matter which party is in power, while Bangalore suffers no matter which party comes to power. Culturally, Hyderabad is welcoming, Bangalore has a very aggressive and visible current against 'outsiders'. Bangalore is 5x more stressful.

Smaller/newer places will provide higher percentage growth. Once the city population (both Benguluru & Hyderabad) grows beyond 2 to 3cr, can't expect the growth would be the same. The near by cities/towns would start appealing more. Focus might shift to Tumakuru, Mysuru or even Krishnagiri (TN) for Benguluru and Jadcherla, Zaheerabad and Siddipet and new planned city for Hyderabad. Would this happen? It's already happening for a while around Mumbai (Navi Mumbai & Pune) and Delhi (Gurugram, Noida, Meerut).

Half of satelite town ring road of total length 280Km is already done. 280KM of suburban railway is under construction. Expressways to Pune, Vijaywada, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore are either done, under construction or in DPR stage. So your argument of , " Mumbai alone surpasses all cities in infra projects" doesn't hold any water. You just know about your city but forgot to check updates about others. Simple:)
Regarding startup investments, almost half of Mumbai's investments this year came to zepto and guess where is it now? In Bangalore. As per that report, Mumbai recieved 3.4 billion and 3.2 billion was for Bangalore.
Bangalore growth strory is so astonishing today that despite being 21st century metropolitan city , Bengalore metropolitan region economy is 78% already of MMR( 143 vs 184 billion USD nominal). I didn't even include other two districts in BMR for this number although bangalore as a city has reached those two districts. You include those, then BMR is already 87% of total MMR GDP( which includes entire districts of Mumbai suburban, city, thane, raigad and palgarh districts). With Bangalore being titled as fastest growing metropolitan region till 2033-35 by WEF, Savills growth hub index- it should be overtaking Mumbai in its nominal economic output by 2030-35. Just look at office space absorption and no Indian city is close to Bangalore. This year alone Bangalore absorbed 22 million sq ft gross. That's 7 million more than next city in list i.e Hyderabad.
Today Bangalore economy runs on electronics, heavy manufacturing, IT, BT, startups, aerospace and other formal sectors. What Bangalore as a hill station achieved in this century to overtake a historical port city should be itself a case study for next generation. Bangalore is close to overtaking Mumbai than Hyderabad is to Bangalore. This is a fact which you'll know if you study economics survey of states, budgets and updates about Indian states.

I was in Bangalore for 8 yrs in my 20s..natural development of IT due to it's climate and wide human resources(talent) availability from 5 different communities(Kannada,telugu,tamil, malayalam and north Indian movement later).it is behind in creating enough infrastructure and vision...so poor in administration....where as in hyderabad is not natural . It had to be created by improving infra and attract investments and visioned by creating such eco system.
I still remember how bangalore actual train stations are not utilised for local transport as it was done in hyderabad around 2000..
Well i have never visited both the cities, i heard a lot. I have seen alot of videos of Hyderabad's new developments and it looks just way too good for any Indian city. Bangalore on the other hand looked like some other Indian city
