An unusual trip from Wellingborough plus the Midland Pullman and a special...May 2024

Seen from our back garden. Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

First we had a very unusual train, this did two trips from Wellingborough to Oakham and return, hauled by a very clean 66737, Friday, Saturday we had the Midland Pullman stop on it's way to Carlisle, then returning to St Albans in the evening.
We caught the special on Thursday.

That first train was a private hire for the MD of GBRF to name a loco after his wife (the large 37 is because she insists that's her age 🤣)
