- Today i sampled Clair De Lune and use the grain size effects on the Plinky.
I think it sounds wonderful with Cosmos drifting away in the background with additional reverb from Mood.

Great to see Plinky still getting some love all this time later. I've waited 3 years to finally get my own, and after the terrible chip shortage. Listening to this is truly inspirational. Reminding me here of the ambient excursions of American composer/DADAist, Tom Recchion.

This is really really beautiful! I love when fragments of the original piece shine through the lustrous textures now and again.
Really an amazingly beautiful piece of work. I love hearing samplers and chopped samples being used in ambient ways like this. It's nice when groove boxes and similar aren't used exclusively for grooves, haha!

Just a week and a half ago, I received an email from thonk that they are selling the kit again. I guess they only sent out emails to those who subscribed to be on the waiting list to get the plinky…maybe you wanna try that route?
