- Having super fun at Revolver, my beloved home in Darjeeling with my dear friends Sajib and Koustav and two these super sweet kids Amos and Jasmine on violin. Both of them are hard working, humble and talented. They come from very simple backgrounds and have true integrity and love required for music. Most importantly we are friends beyond all divides or hierarchy and have great fun together.

The dedication of Arko towards Nepalese folk music is greatly appreciated. He is a very versatile singer. The way he presents all Nepalese songs in a traditional style is amazing. I guess he is not Nepalese but, his love with Nepalese people, culture and music is greatly admirable. 🙏

This is seriously so good. The percussionist is setting such fun vibe. The violin gang brought so much flavor to the song. And Arko, huge respect for your taste in old Nepali songs and your ability to bring them to life.

This song by late buddhi krishna lamichhane is a sad song about a son who is working far way imagines her mother looking for him and thinking about him,
In one interview, the singer remembers that in those days it was very hard to record songs in radio Nepal and they had to wait for the song to be broadcasted on the radio. Unfortunately, the singer's mother passed away and while returning back home from her mother's funeral, the singer heard his song being played on radio.
