@ali81085 I have not drove the 1198 but I can say this the S1k ABS is the best! a car pulled out in front of me and the ABS saved my bike. The power of the BMW is untouchable by any bike Street or track. The bike feels like a 600 but has more power then a zx14
amazing bike. sounds like pure evil. looking to get one myself and went to the dealer.just had one question the dealer could not answer, ive seen the tail lamp flash/flicker, is that just and effect on tv or does it realy flash?, maybe when in slick mode?

@varulalin the best i had were dunlop D211 GP medium soft, fkn awssoooooome elbow down :) supercorsa dont last for the price and they dont have more grip than the metzz

Mesh/textile pant's r doable for summer, or jan's with protection underneath is ideal (Can't always be ideal).. And yes, back protector's are best worn inside that's my only gripe :(. Nice bike man! I ordered mine, 2012 blackRR they come fully loaded in Canada, I got alarm and heated grips too (6), ride safe!
