Just to clarify this gojo is not a first grade, he's a special grade and the person panda was talking about was not junpei who was killed by mahito,he's another special grade sorcerer just like gojo about whom gojo said that he has the potential to surpass him (gojo)

Does anyone remember when the series mentions there's 4 special grade users in total? Cuz we know it'd gojo, yuta, getou and yuki but can't remember when itsa mentioned. If I had to guess I think in the hidden inventory arc???

The one panda thinks of during his talk with mechamaru is Okkotsu, he is the only second year megumi says he can respect, and todou was very dissapointed when he found out that he wouldn't get to fight him (he is overseas) he is also one of the students gojo mentions when speaking with the the kyoto school principle about how the next age won't be able to be classified simply as "special grade"
You'll also get his entire backstory in the movie that's coming out this next year. It will focus entirely on Volume 0 which basically covers Okkotsu's time as a first year at Jujutsu Tech.
Todo and those fake ass memories LOL😂! Really cool how these group battles showcase a little backstory even on the Kyoto students. Really makes the entire cast of characters so much more likeable! Super curious about what Sam got up to do during the OP 😜
I think todo had a best friend in his middle school who died but after all this when he realised that yuji's emotions and personalities exactly match like his old friend. He imagined him as his old best friend. It's so sad...

You won't learn about yuta the character that was shown when panda was talking about until Way later when the movie comes out next year.
Inumaki and Megumi are the strongest out of their school right know, Inumaki ranking in semi-first grade and Megumi i think that he is a second grade sorcerer. And just so you guys know Nanami is a first grade and Gojou is a special grade, those two are very good references on how strong you have to be to be in those grades. The guy that Panda was talking at the end it's not Junpei he is another student from the same year as Panda, if you guys are interest there is a short prequel manga that centers as that guy as the main character but that story will be adapted as a movie
