The verse basses are strong af and have a huge influence on the song
Yes definitely, it's not in the demo though as I couldn’t find an isolated bass track. That’s meant to be played by the bass player. Drums and guitars just added here for context.
I'm just a guitarist popping in to see how you keyboard wizards do this part 👋
You're a legend Francis - thanks for cutting my time learning this intro in half!
Happy to help!
I've seen this track/patch collection on several synths, but the Nautilus is just so warm and thick.....
Great work and sound
Amazing ! !
Perfect 😀😀
The Nautilus is definitely meatier than the Yamaha Modx. Trying to decide between the Nautilus, Modx and the Phantom.
Great videos, thankyou!
Amazing stuff
Well done
Would you have the music sheets for all parts ?
Thanx
No, I play by ear 👂
Thank you so much for this video. Getting my Nautilus on 8/8/2023. The synth sound is just beautiful! Is it a factory preset, your own creation or from a sound library? Thanks again, and I will surely check the rest of your Nautilus content out. I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but, I'm terrified to update it. I would hate to screw it up after just getting it! Been 17 years since doing any synthesis. Started out on a Moog Opus 3 Analog (late 1970s), then a Roland D-20 (scrapped the Moog), then paired the D-20 up with a Korg O1/W Pro X. The O1/W Pro X was such a massive board with all black wood that you could serve dinner on it! If I remember correctly... It sure seemed a lot heavier than 16.5 kg. Thank you again Francis.
My Nautilus pack is a set of custom sounds. It’s easy to update just follow the instructions and the video tutorial. It fixes some bugs, doubles the number of program banks and improves functionality
Interesting to hear the variations in these patches as compared to the MODX, which I own . I must say the Nautilus sounds extremely warm, which is a trademark of Korg.
What's your verdict on the Nautilus v MODX?
It’s essentially a Kronos with stripped back hardware and a different soundset. My cover sounds for the Nautilus sound identical to my Kronos sound set. Get one! It will complement your MODX.
Just purchased a Nautilus shops have sold out
Congratulations great job! What sound do you use for the arpeggiator?
It’s managed by the Wavesequencer in the HD1 engine making use of internal FM waves.
@@narfsounds how could i create this sound on roland fantom?
Amazing stuff bro, can i ask please if i may, what is name of the hard stabs patch at 1:49. I'm really trying to recreate this tone.
It's a custom Kronos MOD7 program, I just called it Money For Nothing Digi Clav. A DX7 bass patch was my starting point.
Hello! Wow - this is really cool and such an amazing song! We are a kids family band from NZ and hope you might like to see our version of Money for Nothing as well :) thanks!
Will this work with a Kronos ???
No, the Nautilus PCG's are not compatible but I have this same song made for the Kronos. This was programmed on the Kronos and tweaked on the Nautilus for the scene changes. ua-cam.com/video/EikU4BTpvZo/v-deo.html. Available at narfsounds.com/kronos
@@narfsounds Thanks Bud. I will probably pick that up at the end of the month. Thanks again.
