There has likely been a credible threat to security so they've upped the ante in response. I would not want to be anywhere near Europe at this time!!!

if there is a threat to the guards and horses why are they out there in public
because they are trained guards, done much travelling

There was no threat to the guards there are 4 ( or at least thats how many i counted ) police at the gate if you watch any of the other channels from Horse Guards you will know that 4 / 6 officers is normal

Increased police ? i counted 4 officers and having watched several different channels that seems to be the norm in fact sometimes there can be up to 6 so this is a totally ridiculous title
They do this to get you to their channel.
