One thing that bothers me is that people will put small children in front of the horse or so close to its shoulder that if it moves suddenly they are right in its way.
These are the type of people who will shove a push chair/stroller into the road with their child in it while waiting to cross the street. Stupidity at its finest.
It looked more deliberate than innocent to me. When the person sitting on the animal whose reins you grabbed starts yelling, the first instinct would be to turn and see why he’s yelling, whether you understand what he’s saying or not. The woman on the other side was startled, moved away and looked up at the guard, but the rein grabber just stood there finishing her photo, even holding on tighter when the horse moved the reins. Loved the guy tapping her on the shoulder to say, hey, move. Then she stood there staring the guard down and smiling. She knew he was yelling at her and ignored it to get her photo. Only then did it look like she asked her friend what it was about. Other than that, what a crowded, disorganized mess. Glad the guard moved the horse back to get him away from the pawing, even for a bit.
That horse is incredibly patient and kind, but I can't believe parents letting their small children get so close to a huge, unknown animal, of any kind.
At 9:45, some idiot thought it was okay to put their young boy in front of a full-grown horse when the poor animal is already in a stressful situation because of people without boundaries. Thank goodness the guard quickly backed up.
@@jaw9388 he really was. I had tears in my eyes watching him try to get his photo, bless him. If I was that guard I'd have shouted 'get back' & then beckoned him over so he could get his photo 🤣🤣🤣
Kids politely standing by horse, waiting to have their picture taken: Adult: I think I will stand in front of those kids. Other adults: Let's stand behind the kids and ruin their picture.
They come a long way to see the magnificent Household Cavalry, mounted elite professional soldiers, not conscripts or living statues..,, and then take photos of themselves!
I know👍 that Pakistani man just couldn't let that little lad who was all dressed up like a guard have his own pic, but he managed his big family group shot but slid in and ruined the little boys pic, if i was that little lads mum i would make them all move so he could have a nice pic on his own.😤
The majority of tourists treat the horse and guard as a photo prop. They fight over standing next to them with no regard for the horse's wellbeing. It really is quite obnoxious to see the disregard.
No matter how good the rider is with horsemanship a full grown horse will go where it wants at times. Especially if it's startled or afraid. In front of a ton of live horseflesh is not a good place to be when it decides it wants the place you are in. With the crowds I think it's possible a horse wouldn't even know a small child was in front of it.
I hate to see everyone crowded around and everyone reaching to touch the horse! Parents who let little children stand under the horse’s head don’t realize if that horse moves forward it could really hurt their child.
That Pakistani bloke just couldn't let the little boy who was dressed up like a guard have his own picture, he couldn't wait a few seconds, i noticed he managed to get all his family in on a nice photo with no other tourist in but he couldn't do the same for that little boy
Maybe my suggestion, of new signage will pay off, the old signs gone.🇦🇺 Don't touch Guard Don't touch reigns Don't feed horse Horse can bite and kick Please Respect our Traditions
What a mannerless rabble crowding up to the guardsman on his horse. I feel there ought to be some type of barrier to stop this from happening. It must be incredibly irritating for both horse and guardsman.
Where are the Horses bite and kick signs? I hope they’re changing them out for something less subtle like “Don’t touch or annoy the horses period! Stay 3ft back”
Tourists are rude, that little soldier just wanted a picture of himself with the Guard and horse. They should have gotten out the way. Also where is the kick and bite sign? Why do parents want their children so close to the horse when the horse is unpredictable?
Wow, the tourists are rude to other tourist and children cutting others off just wanting to get a picture. And I pour a little boy and that little uniform goodness sakes..
They should make an area of about 1.5 mtr around the guards that the public shouldn't be aloud in, touching and interfering should be an absolute no no. Years ago guards were stood outside Buckingham palace but they had to move them inside the gates because there was so much interference.
Why do these people think its ok to grab the reigns of a horse with a soldier sitting on top performing official duties? They think they have the right to do whatever they like, its not a theme park its a real soldier.
my other half was pushed towards a beautiful horse once. Nuzzled their chest and everyone was smiling. Then that horse bit their chest and shook its head up and down up and down. Then let my other half go. Yeah ... no kids folks. Because theyd punish that horse after the public whined and wailed.
Soldiers, security, police and even the guards are way too lenient and permissive, in a certain way, to visitors who outright there privileges to be near those awesome guards and their horses.

These guards are trained so well to compose themselves until some dummy touches the reigns. These dummies would grab the wheel of a car just to get a picture. Jeeeze people have some common sense.
This Horse is peaceful and content in spite of the continuous flow of people around him, they’re like bees round a honeypot.
The horses are well trained and a tolerance of annoying tourists haha
and the crowds are noisy with it.

As the statue in 'Night at the Museum' said
"Dum Dum".
Yep, exactly my worry. The horse doesn’t know they’re there either 🤷🏼♀️
Well people are inherently stupid...

.even a nip can hurt...
That is a well trained horse, but it's also got a sweet heart.
Made me cry... beautiful horse 🙏
I found it fascinating to watch people totally ignoring the tiny little afro kids and rudely pushing in front of them It was quite telling.
What a sweetheart of a horse.. the way it was nudging guests with its head in such an affectionate manner. Beautiful.

I wish they could use their swords. The stupid people would soon move!
😮😮
Love how he was vigilant over that little boy being so close and moved back ❤
I am astounded by parents who let their kids get so close, like the boy in yellow and the guard moved the horse back.
These greedy adults jump in front of the children as if it’s all about them. So selfish of them.
Well done, guard, .......he puts his mount first above tourists 👍
That horse is incredibly patient and kind, but I can't believe parents letting their small children get so close to a huge, unknown animal, of any kind.
Parents prove they should never be parents. Sickening.
Top marks to this soldier and his horse.

Without brains you mean..
The little boy dressed up how cute was he❤
So adorable, yet the adults weren't going to let him get a pic on his own. So darned selfish 🤬
The little boy in uniform, it took 3 tries to get his picture and the people still didn’t move out of the way. He was a darling little soldier.

How mean were those adults that just had to have their faces in that little soldier's photo. They just couldn't let him have a minute could they 🤨
Some of the adults would not let him get in for a photo, it was all about themselves!
Grief, it must be like being stuck in a swarm of biting midges!
I hate it when they say ,do you want to have a go , like it’s a Disney ride

Well done guard.
What a beautiful horse ❤
Isn't he the usual trumpeter? I didn't know and expect he has this powerful voice! Good for him, unfortunately he'll need it😅
In addition to the might bite or kick notice, they should post one regarding the reins as so many do not seem to understand the purpose of the reins!
Well done to the 💂♂️
Saturday tomorrow, you know who we are all waiting for!
Oh please no! Let's hope her train has leaves on the line or something. Give those poor guards a break!
Not Karen from North Yorkshire? What did the people of North Yorkshire do to deserve her!!
Did I just hear a tourist ask “is that a real sword??” ?! Can they get any more stupid?
did she want to test it out. of course it's damned well real. But then again you can't mend "stupid."

How ignorant! 😮That couple with baby in yellow shoved the black children out of the way where were they dragged up?!
Totally agree what a rude thing to do they think their more important.Stupid pair
The woman with the black jacket too..The children have more respect
The new sign should read:
Do Not Touch the Horses!
That should happen..wait till summer..they'll be all over thd poor horses ..not right
Tourists love it when the guards shout louder the better.
They come a long way to see the magnificent Household Cavalry, mounted elite professional soldiers, not conscripts or living statues..,, and then take photos of themselves!
Lol.that really gets me!!
Shouldn't been allowed.
I miss the sign..." Horses may kick or bite..."
It's annoying that the "grown ups" have to ruin the photos of the children, by barging in. Selfish people.

The majority of tourists treat the horse and guard as a photo prop. They fight over standing next to them with no regard for the horse's wellbeing. It really is quite obnoxious to see the disregard.
How rude are some people ? They wouldn't move aside to let the little lad in uniform get a decent picture.

Why do people need to lean to have their pictures taken? Cameras these days can fit the whole building in the shot, are people as big as buildings! 😂

Such a shame the ignorant adults didn't allow the little soldier to have his picture taken. It's like a cattle market !!
I hate to see everyone crowded around and everyone reaching to touch the horse! Parents who let little children stand under the horse’s head don’t realize if that horse moves forward it could really hurt their child.
Noticed the signs are gone, maybe they're having new ones made to include "don't touch the reins".
Should say Don't Touch the Horse or Guard!

“Does he have a real sword?”
