Episode 5 of Moon Knight is perhaps the best piece of storytelling MCU has ever undertaken! The trauma, immense guilt and disdain Marc had to face is really devastating. Oscar Isaac, you justify your name so well! What a performance!🌙

Man, like me, probably read "Kane Chronicles" as a kid. So happy the wrote this goddess the way they did, had me vibing with Marc the entire time on this one.
The fact youve found more than one thing funny in this episode is impressive. I was too busy crying

This was the saddest episode honestly. I really hope they bring Steven back he’s just to pure and I absolutely love him. It was heartbreaking but not surprising to see that he was like the coping mechanism of Marc. It’s just so sad.
I also hope that Steven will return to continue to help Marc cope with the loss of his brother.

I love how tawaret called Marc and Steven “twins.” It shows there brotherhood, and how one twin can’t live without the other. The writers know exactly what they’re doing.
I literally sobbed when Steven died😭 Oscar Issac's acting throughout the whole episode was incredible. Can't wait for the finale episode!! Love your channel, Maria!!

This episode was the most heartbreaking,first,Marc and Steven realising they're dead.Second,the origin of Marc and his past and third,Steven’s death.
Steven's happy little "Hippo!" in the start was everything 😭❤
I lol-ed at the, "Kill the hippo, steal the boat" line from Marc. 💀
I love the fact that talking hippo god, an afterlife, two personalities walking separately, dead bird god are all real, and the only thing that is imaginary is psychiatric hospital.
This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions at the end of it I felt like I don’t know what to do with life 😅
Deepest and saddest episode ever but I’m glad you can still find some humor in it😭😂

Im glad they included her, she's a really really underused character from Egyptian mythos. Usually we see characters like Rah, Anubis and so forth in movies and comics.
I would like to see some other unused Egyptian gods... like the really obscure ones.

@@MariaArchiveChannel For me, every ancient mythos is more interesting than current monotonous mythos, but that's me.
Take Greek and Roman gods who shares common similarities, reading their origins is really fascinating. Multiple layers of beings, we have the titans who predated the gods and was usurped by them later on.
But I hope we see perhaps how Taweret, Hathor and Isis interact with each other, they are all gods that represent fertility, childbirth and motherhood in some fashion in egyptian mythos.
Perhaps not, but that's the nerd in me speaking.

This episode was nothing but sadness and trauma (for Marc AND for me), surprised you found some humor while i was busy crying amd going through five stages of grief

A show isn’t trauma by the way let’s not belittle trauma to small things like us watching memories of a fictional character. Marc has trauma definitely, but not us

I love this episode so much, it had me in tears and yet the humour was so good❤️
i freakin loved the hippo goddess :D but yet again, Moon Knight bends my brain in ways it hasn't been bent by a TV show in a long time, and i love it. best MCU show yet, because it's the most... un-marvel-like, or something. and it just doesn't feel like it's gonna end next week!
honestly i think it's one of the best if not the best introduction to a new character
the way marc said " because we are insane " made me feel sad for him . It was like he accepted the fact that he is clearly unwell and he lost himself in his mind
Taweret took the position of Anubis of guiding and weighing, she’s new but very nice to communicate. 😊

^^ I find it understandable after all his traumas and coping mechanisms and all the chaos they brung in his life. Both very funny and very sad, just like this episode.

One thing I never noticed the first time I watched this was that Taweret's nails are a lovely shade of blue 😆 I was more focusing on how brilliant the CGI was

Don't know why that would be necessary especially considering a modern day Egyptian national may not have any genealogical link with ancient Egypt.
