Did those days really happen ? Yes, they did, because l can remember them (just). The mindset and the freedoms were so different, even the looks on people's faces. I'm very grateful to have grown up in such times.
Had the joy of staying at the Carbis Bay Hotel in January a few years back of a Secret Escape holiday deal - fantastic place - a very expensive I would imagine in the Summer months. Have stayed at Hayle many times (just before St.Ives).

They still happen. I love 3 more bites walk for a north east beach, it was packed all summer. Mostly by immigrants mind you. A sea of hijabs
