Forgot about the metal chain between the rope and the anchor, 1m is usually enough. It helps bruce and denfort style anchors to fall down the proper way and dig in to sand faster. Anchors are one of my favorite topics also) The denfort style is easy to stove away, esp smaller ones on small boats, but the grip is shitty, bruce is bulky to stove, but the grip is superior. Almost never needed an anchor on the river - lots of trees to tie to, but absolutely need at least two at sea. Usually it was bruce on the bow and denfort on the stern, digged in the sand on shore 30-50m away from the boat. Ah, good ol sea cruising island camping days...
I thought this a bit silly and wordy video without much info as to how the anchors function in various bottom conditions and comparisons. So a thumbs down from me.
At 5:50 You said "At a 5 to 1 ratio in 50 feet of water, you want 100 foot scope" lol the math aint mathin' sir.

I see you gave it a thumbs down. Thanks. I guess. I’ll keep your suggestions in mind for the next video.
