Imagine how The Shoe would’ve been if there hadn’t been roughly 40K visiting fans in a 100K stadium. It’s a huge shame it all worked out like that, because if a lot of fans hadn’t completely checked out of supporting Ryan Day, I think that fan would’ve been the loudest, “wild-est” (for lack of better words) stadium in OSU history. That kind of environment, and 40K fans WEREN’T cheering. I really hope Ryan Day has “cracked the nut”, with these big games, and we at minimum beat UM this year, and make a respectable run into the CFP. We’ve lost a terrifying number of players, and the best DC in OSU history (maybe college football history). So, Day is going to have to coach “loose”, and punch WAY above his weight-class with this next team. Go Bucks!
When I hear the players and coaches talk about it, it almost seems like all those opposing fans (and the outward disrespect from them as a whole - claiming "Neland North" and playing Rocky Top on loop at campus area bars, etc.) gave the OSU faithful in attendance the juice to make it even louder. Sometimes it seems like fans are complacent when it's 90/10 or 80/20 or whatever, but having the enemy right in front of you where you can give 'em hell is different. My stepson was there for the Indiana and Tennessee games this season and he also said it was very different that night. The loyal faithful got a treat and running those cocky SEC bastards outta there must have been the greatest feeling. Hearing the OSU crowd mockingly chant S-E-C from the second quarter onward warmed my soul! We have to keep that edge at the Shoe and it shouldn't take a rivalry loss or other fanbases challenging us to that extent for it to happen. We're so very blessed, but can't lose sight of what got us here. Second to the Natty, of course, I think giving our Seniors a proper send off in a prime time home playoff game was one of the tremendous highlights of a highlight filled campaign. The 2024-25 season was so unique in the way that unfolded and I'm just greatful that I got to witness the good guys, my hometown Buckeyes accomplish something so special. What an epic journey! Go Bucks!
@@bonedawgstudio5649I was there. It was great having all those Vols in the shoe! Felt like a home Bowl game! They were extremely confident and it was refreshing how optimistic they were! The game as a Buckeye was incredibly awesome and at time frustrated, as the last time I left the shoe the team in late November the team I witnessed destroyed TN I just kept thinking where the hell were those guys a few weeks ago!?! Either way, this is a moment for all of Buckeye Nation to remember to say to yourself “Thank God I am a Buckeye!” And get back to having fun!
@ Incredibly well said. I’m somewhat ashamed to say that I was so disgusted after that UM loss, and what seemed like the culmination of the Ryan Day legacy up to that point, that I didn’t even watch it. I couldn’t handle what I thought was going to be another loss at home against an SEC team, in cold weather…(whether by 1pt or 21pts). I got up the next day, and my wife was like, you’ve GOT to watch that game, and just left it at that, with no details or anything. She just said “just sit down and watching it!” I tape all the games I keep an eye on during the season, so I don’t have to deal with commercials. So, I watched it the following morning. And, thought…..if they can bring it like that, then we could do something really special this year. But, even then, it wasn’t until half-time during Oregon that I REALLY started to believe. Like I said, the contrast of emotions that happened in roughly two weeks was something I’ve never experienced before…..just……WOW. My head is still spinning, and trying to connect the dots from it all. *Don’t know what happened, or why, but I hope Ryan Day remembers that “recipe”. *👍

@ see that attitude right there is the problem, why enjoy a natty knowing in the same year Xichigan can say they beat the champs, I hate that program so bad I don’t want them having anything to hold over us, but trying to get people like you to understand that is like arguing with a wall
He will get over ttun too. While most true Ohio state fans the pressure is still on him next season to win the game arguably more than a repeat (I agree with you there). But nationally overall the pressure is lifted. I think that will help push him to win it.
Coach Day you are the best
My mental health improved during the Championship Run!
Man! I was borderline depressed with this freezing weather. Feeling fine now❤❤❤❤
Go bucks! Coach Day will be a force to reckon with! Keep up the faith… they will be in the championship contention again today!
"... take a deep breath..."
yes sir.
Awesome for you to hear from Coach Day!

Damn some of these fans yes the game is important but enjoy a national title they don’t come by that often
It's been said that the gold cart driver holds a Michigan Driver's License. No one knows for sure because she hasn't been seen since. Lol.
Repeat!!! I’ll be back to comment next year after we hoist that second trophy.
Work in mental health. How can I contribute?

What was the "Something special is about to happen" that was advertised.
These news channels are scummy with their UA-cam strategies
It was literally the quote Ryan Day said in the interview about the moment he realized we were about to go on a Natty Run?
Bet we repeat
The audio on this feed is horrible!
Happy for Ryan but he’s basically turning into Cooper 2.0,,, needs to get it together, I’m sick of losing to that team every year
Talking about the cheaters up north
Well grab your helmet and get out there champ. We're counting on you for the win
try and enjoy a natty for God's sake.
