@@Endelite You did not understand that story at all then, it was about freedom of choice and a kind of romantic love based on it. If you remember she also let You, Daena or Escad kill Irwin if they desired so, she was not trying to protect him from you either.
@@Efylan Nothing about what I said suggests I don't understand that.
I would say it's just mad (and nonsensical) to go that far, not drawing the line at Irwin wanting to destroy everything. Irwin destroying the world destroys everyone else's ability to choose anything, so she loves his liberty above everyone else's liberty combined. Saying it's either about unconditional love above all else, or about nonintervention above everything else, (in both cases) including above freedom of choice of others, seems more appropriate.
If you don't intervene to stop the destruction of the world, everyone else's choices go away...because, you know, everyone and everything is dead.
More concerning is Daena acting as if she cares about always trying to use talk to solve things but then she is willing to kill Escad to stop him from killing Irwin because she wants to keep trying to talk Irwin out of destroying the whole world.
So it's OK in her mind to use violence in that case in order to only use talk to stop someone trying to destroy the world.

@@Endelite And if you don't remember escad was always the first to start a fight, he saw the world in black and white only and that is why he saw Daena as his enemy when she didn't want to kill irwin and then proceeded to try to kill her, what was she supposed to do? let him kill her because he couldn't think her as anything else but her sworn enemy?
