BRANCH This video was released on my 21st birthday and your new album was released the day after! WOW! What a coincidence! I wish I had found it sooner, but I'm glad I did now. I just bought it online as an MP3 download from Amazon and I'm very grateful for it. Thank you again, your music always brings joy to me!
OSTs were ALWAYS the best part of Final Fantasy games. Oh, and the Chrono series. You might dig that. And Xenogears. And Front Mission. Oh, and Suikoden. :D
The upright bass' bowing sounded a lot better than it has in the past. That's a wonderful thing. And you three are fantastic, anyways. One of my favorite channels, hands down.

I find it hard to imagine that any other ff game has as good music as ff3, seeing as how the music (like the boss battle theme, the town of Ur theme, the town of Amur theme, and the obvious best, Eternal wind) is so good. Of course, I have never played any other ff game, so I may be wrong. However, ff3 will still hold its place as one of my favorite games of all time. Square really amazes me sometimes.
All of the soundtracks reuse themes from previous games. You may want to check out the later games just to see if they redid any of your favorites. Sorry, can't name any specifics.
Since I made that comment, I have played 1, 2, 4, 5, and 8. I am playing 7. This has all been made possible with my purchase of a PlayStation 1, except for 4, which I played on my 3ds, like I did for 3. It's quite interesting to me how much my view has changed since this comment.

The original was played on a very crude synthesizer which had essentially only 2 voices (square wave and saw wave) and no real way to make anything have distinction and articulation. It doesn't take much to be better than that.....but this is MUCH. These guys are truly talented.
Awesome, as always! I admit I'm not really familiar with the music of Final Fantasy III (unless you're talking the original US localization of VI for the SNES), but this sounded really good nonetheless.
