four months ago i watched the donghua for the first time and got so absorbed in the story that i started watching cql right after it, then read the novel, manhua, finally audio drama. after successfully consuming every existence of mdzs, here i am, rewatching again. never going to leave this wangxian maze :)
This is underrated My first reaction was “Holy crap this is beautiful” Then “why tf is this so detailed?!” UNDERRATED I SAY!!! UNDERRATED!! Oh and why is everyone so handsome? And why isn’t there any bl?
Is it finished or still ongoing. I heard that there are just 2 seasons released (in total cca 23 episodes) and one season is missing, is that true or does this anime has released ending? (I saw jus The Untamed...so if this is not finished I will notice it, but it will take me these few episodes and that would just kill my time...so I’m asking if it is fully released)
I would love an extended version of MDZS with multiple omited scenes. This donghua is clearly popular and in other world cultures the inclusion of many omitted parts would be appreciated. And I am not referring to the sexual sphere, but to delicate and important moments like the first kiss, Lan Zhan's jealousy, when Wei Ying asks Yanli how she knows if she likes someone, when Wei Ying throws flowers to Lan Zhan, the Lan Zhan's pain in the cave with a dying Wei Ying etc. I have seen MDZS many times. And it never fails to fill me with tons of love. The animation is excellent both in the choreography, as in the backgrounds and the beautiful subtleties to avoid censorship. For this reason, I believe that an extended version deserves and would be very well received in most of the world.
I agree with you, i would like to see an extended version where they have not only the kiss but the extras, maybe not the second part of burner incense or maybe they could use a program or sth so that younger people cannot watch it so that those interested can see those scenes. However, unlike in CQL, i'd like to see a little bit more of wangxian travelling and helping other people who dont receive help from the sects because they ignore them? Also i would like to see sth like a prequel about wei ying's parents and how they met ziyuan, fengmian, qiren and learn the story of the twin jades of lan. Of course, i'd like to see how wy's parents die and how he survives his time in the streets. This in addition to how the future sect leaders interact with one another and what separated them like they were in the donghua. I mean lan and nie had an alliance between them which makes them stronger. Why did the jiangs only allied allied themselves to the jins without taking into account the other sects.

This adaptation is the one that has touched my heart the most and makes me cry. And I know that financially speaking, the producers would do well to think about extending the series. Mo Dao Zu Shi es unas de las novelas que más me ha gustado entre tantas, no sólo por sus personajes, sino también por su historia, que más allá de que en las adaptaciones se omitan varias cosas, todas como el donghua, manhua y cql, nunca me han decepcionado. mdzs sin duda es uno de las mejores novelas que leí también esta su contenido de producción como op y ed, banda sonora y animación, todo muy hermoso. es arte. es aRTE.
Cada adaptación es magnífica a su estilo, nos regalan cosas nuevas, mantienen la esencia y sencillamente es una historia que no cansa no importa cuántas veces la veas
