WWX got to know the ribbon was important during the hunt when they were younger, but not why the ribbon was important cause he never really bothered to learn the lan clan rules. The books only mentioned him being half conscious during the massacre of Nightless City. WWX didn't remember explicitly how he got away. LXC told WWX that LWJ helped him and that the way LWJ treated and spoke to WWX in that cave, anyone could tell his feelings.

It took a while for me to realize that the headless corpse was Da ge 😅 And they finally confirmed it was Da ge towards the end. He was the tallest character and wielded the sabre.
I really wish there wasn’t censorship. This scene is sooo much better in the novel. Wei Yung asks for the headband just to take a look at it and LAN Zhan readily gives it to him without hesitation. That in itself is huge. Then LAN Zhan just ties him up with it signifying he not only gives Wei Ying full control of himself, he is irrevocably tied to him and even death cannot tear them apart.
Ok, leaving these two aside....... I love the "Jin Ling gang " or whatever it's named, we have to protect those three at all costs they are so lovely and funny 😢
