Hi Peter, Thanks for your review of the Sony Z90. As always, a helpful and beneficial review. I wonder if you would mind doing a comparison review between the Sony NX5R, the Sony Z150, and the Sony Z90V. I am particularly interested in knowing how each camera performs in picture quality… particularly in low light. Also in knowing how the NX5R does with its 3 1/2.8 sensor chips compared with the 1” chips on the Z150, and the Z90. It seems to me that the NX5R and Z150, would have the advantage over the Z90, with dedicated rings for aperture, focus, and zoom, but on the other hand, if you don’t use manual aperture, focus or zoom, perhaps that doesn’t matter as much. Perhaps the auto focus on the Z90 is so good, that you don’t need manual focus. I wonder what the other differences are between the Z150 and the Z90. Do they both record to the same codex(es), and record at the same bit rates, or does one have an advantage over the other. I believe that the Z150, costs about US$500.00 more than the Z90. What benefits do you get for that extra $500.00? The Z90 is the least expensive of the 3 cameras. Would it be better to spend the additional dollars and get one of the other cameras? If so, which one would you recommend? I mainly shoot live events and for the most part am not able to move around much. Thanks very much for your help with this! Steve L.
I had a X70 (until I replaced it with Canon C100) but never upgraded it to 4K/UHD/QFHD because not only does it cost AU$700 to upgrade, it only records at 4:2:0 colour.
I planing to buy this camera.. But i heard this camera have sencor in viewfinder.. So automaticly LCD go off when we little close to the viewfinder.. Is there any option to Off that system ? Anyone tell me please.
how long can the sony Z90 record for? sadly the DSLR I have stops at about 30 minutes. and I was thinking of getting the Z90 for conference recording gigs
Hello, is there a possibility to make a transmission with the PXW-Z90 to a computer, without the Sony RX station?
Hi. Glad to see you are putting humour into the video's! The PXW version uses the Sony pro codec, the HX is one step down with the 'S' variant. Bob.
How to record in mo4 format?

I think I'll definitely pick up the HX80! Are there any updates on the December release date?
The menu button is still in that awkward place though.

Excellent quick review, can't wait for your full review. Maybe time to upgrade my AX100. Thanks.
Any idea on low-light performance? MY z150 is bad in low light.

It doesn't have 4k @ 60fps. Need to upgrade to this level at 4K @ 60fps or not worth it.
