I have to confess that I never take the time to clean the paint roller pad. I just toss them. Cleaning the rest is fairly easy. I clean all the parts first with water. Then I fill a small bucket of clean warm water. Using the bucket like a paint can I then fill the tube with the water the same way as with the paint. Repeating 4 or 5 times usually cleans it enough.
