Glad you enjoyed it buddy.. I have to do a night session around there soon. September-October is usually a good time here for the slightly better fish. Thanks for watching!
Not much better than fresh eggs, soft-boiled to perfecting, lightly toasted, fresh, thick cut bloomer loaf, and a new video from Fish Island TV to start a Sunday morning! Coffe and orange juice too! 😁 Conditions looked perfect, Sam, trust the bloody bass to go and spoil it by not smashing you left, right and center! Have you ever done a kayak set up video, Sam? What you have, where you've put it, and why? Would love to watch something like that from you, the UK's premier Kayak sea fishing angler! Would defo help me to set up my new purchase.
Glad you enjoyed it buddy ! Your making me hungry and sounds like the ideal morning! I did have a kayak setup video but it had some sort of issue and was fuzzy footage so I deleted it. I will do another one during the winter.
@@FISHISLANDTV Excellent! From your dry suit, choice and reason for choosing your PFD, paddles, sounder, tethers, anchor, etc. I know I will DEFINITELY not be alone in the interest. My kayak came with a Lowrance Hook2 x4gps, which seems like a decent starter unit. Got a graze on the keel, which whilst not even remotely deep, I am in talks with the manufacturer about best way to repair it, then I'm gonna fit a kydex keel guard. Alas, monies are tight, so second hand, especially for my first vessel, seemed the way to go. Tight line, brother!
3,4,5 hours of lure fishing from a kayak, predominantly surface is neck and shoulders and back workout material. Punching wind and tide all day, couple of casts, then paddle back, repeat. The Bixby motor is becoming more of a must do. Great video as usual mate. Nice area around those parts.
Bixpy definitely worth every penny! I get so knackered working a lure from the Kayak in comparison to fishing from the shore god knows why but the arms start to tighten up after about 15 mins or so!
Thanks for the sub mate6 it’s much appreciated. il endeavor to get back out making videos asap struck down with serious man flu at the moment though lol
Great videos bud. Personally with a surface lure I’ll do a couple of stops when retrieving. The Bass do seem to like it when the the lure stops dead and they hit it on the stop.
Really enjoy your videos. I’m getting a SIB this summer. I’m in South Devon on the estuary’s and coastline. I’ve just found those stops with the surface lures that’s more often when the bass will strike
keep an eye out for the next video il hopefully remember to add some pauses. oh you will have to try for the gilthead bream too that will be good fun from the sib on the estuary matey
Great stuff. Love it when the castle lights or harbour lights come on as your talking at the end. Perfect timing. 👍🐟🐟
