I agree with her, as you get older you realize you could have done things differently if only you had the knowledge learnt over the years (sad it doesn't work that way)! I travelled to Switzerland almost 40 years ago and it was a beautiful, I was the only black in most places I went, I didn't experience any racism there!
i went to Paris whith my class when I was like 18 and we made groups of 3,4 people to explore the city. our group went to KFC and we were the only (semi) white guys in there. It was akward for 10 seconds because everyone was staring at us but after that it was chill and fine. :) for context Im swiss and it was weird for sure.... for me there are only two kinds of people people i like and people i dislike and everyone starts at at positiv 1 minimum (best friend is like 10)....you have to work for me to dislike you! :)
The Swiss people have mastered efficiency. The public transport system is above excellent. Even the little villages are connected to public transport. We stayed in a hotel in the Alps in Engadine and it was the only building in that vast location with beautiful views, there was a bus stop and a train stop. Although you will have to press a button when you get to the train station so that the arriving train driver will know before hand that there is someone waiting to board at that particular stop, else they will pass if no passenger already onboard is coming off there. Even that station had a bathroom, a vending machine for snacks, a ticket machine and in the cold season it is heated. Who does that? Only in Switzerland. The country is beautiful, clean, efficiently run but you do pay for all that. Switzerland is very expensive. I wouldn’t mind living there.
Africa is beautiful. Unfortunately we don't have the right leadership and governance. We could have similar high standards of living as parts of Europe... Watching from JHB South Africa

There is no country happy to see any African person no matter what most especially Asians , I just feel so bad for we Africans abroad just bcs of bad leadership forcing us to move out of African ,there is nothing anyone can tell me there is no place like where you came from and your color feet in that is the major issue
also dont focus on the bad interactions but focus on the ones that truly matter...people that like you.

I live in switzerland and i can guarantee you a lot of problems today didnt exist 30 years ago and it became a proble because of foreigners not respecting the law. sounds harsh but first off you shold be angry about your country men breaking the law instead of the racist swiss misjusdging you. Im not saying it's a good reason but that's how people work . The true problem is a lot of northern africans dealing drugs beacuse it's the easy way and there is little that will happen to you if caught. categorizing things or people is unfortunately human behaviour. Rika yangu seems really impressed with the country. I have lived in Europe nearly 30 years but I still love home. Nothing like home. We should embrace Africa. African Tigress the whole of Europe is similar and clean, clean rivers, so I personally would like to see African videos

Not in my country. Healthcare is non-existent, roads full of potholes. Electricity and water are never guaranteed; even with your millions, you won’t exactly enjoy the country.
exactly. In Europe one is under constant pressure. It is like the difference between Nairobi and Mombasa. Security, always clean drinking water from the tub and always electricity is payed not with money it is payed with stress and following strict rules even if they don't make sense.

There is no place like home my Motherland Ghana, but if I have to do it again I’ll surely do things differently.
I still love living in Canada 🇨🇦, but if I should live somewhere else it’ll be Switzerland,New Zealand Ghana or back to Canada.
Switzerland is the most beautiful country in the world, especially their villages.

I've lived overseas for 26 years and am back in my country for over a year now. Life is good back at home but missing my children so will be going back for a visit.
I wished i visited Switzerland during my 20's and im Sure i Migrated there. I only went once in Switzerland and i am Inlove the county is also very Clean what i love and the Nature is Magic. I realy learn alit on this Blog hearing that Lady telling us story

The chocolate drink, Ovaltine was available in my Caribbean island, back in the 70s. It is also sold here in Canada.
Hi it's called Ovomaltine, and it is not chocolate, but made out of malt 🙂
The chocolate bean comes from Ghana. If you buy a chocolate bar in Switzerland it will say Swis chocolate. They also do not pay the African the proper price for there produce.
It's still in most Caribbean/African/Asian shops, Ovaltine, Milo & Horlicks, the drinks of our childhood!😊

My Hubby & daughters in Law are from Switzerland so vacations in Kenya, US & Switzerland.
It is one view but having lived in Europe for some time, if I could go back 26 years, with what I know, I wouldn't choose Europe again because with the benefit of hindsight, and knowledge of the possibilities, I could really make Kenya much more beneficial. That would never have happened the first time though.
Looking back, i wish i had relicated to switzerland in the 1980s...

If you equate soul with dirt, then Switzerland and other clean countries are not the place for you. I prefer clean and neat countries, much like my home! I will not visit filthy, messy, chaotic countries. It looks like you and I will never meet, but at least we won't be crowding each other! Enjoy your travels!

Toughest country for foreigners
I find the toughest country Norway, because of really cold winters i've experienced. Then Belgium and Switzerland i give the third place. Just my personal opinion, i lived in 6 countries within 15 years. Greetings!

I live near Zürich because it's near my work place, i'd prefer to live in the countryside of Switzerland because life there is more relaxed. Came to Europe 26 years ago, started with Germany before i came to Switzerland. I totally agree with the lady, if i'd go back 26 years, i'd do things differently and if not Kenya my hometown of Migori would still love to be here in Switzerland not even Germany.

Why not Germany?
Yes, convenience cost, coming to the West with a few dollars and no family will make you unhappy, you are paying for lights, 24/7 water that runs through pipes, street lights, highways that run for miles, grocery stores well stock, etc. You can't have all those conveniences and not cost money, so which do you choose?
The earth boasts quite a number of beautiful places. Myopia sucks you into one. Enjoy wherever you are. Each country has it attributes. Depends on your preferences.
