Went to DT yesterday to grab some disposible plates, napkins, cups and utensils for the 4th. Their prices are so much cheaper than everywhere else. We were going to bbq on the 4th, but it's going to be 102, so maybe we'll just do a potluck. Hope your dizziness gies away. I get that way with an ear infection and usually end up needing antibiotics. So much fun.
I had never had problems with my ears until a few months ago. So I had to go to a doctor. She said it was allergies. 😑 ugh. Great haul. Feel better 🥰 🙏🙏
I got my Roof done last year, I thought the same thing, the noise from it I did not like at all, didn't ever seem to bother my birds or animals so that's good, I was glad, I have a cat 4 dogs, bird, so they all acted fine lol, the noise they made sounded like it was coming down crazy, it bothered us but not the animals lol, idk, sweet Pea is talking to you lol, 😊, Hope your doing ok now, Many Blessings
Just a thought . Ask your doctor first , but see if it’s ok to use meclizine . ( I am a retired Rn and think it’s important to check ) Now over the counter. Similar to Dramamine . Eliminates dizziness . Works on me . Old med, cheap . At CVS or similar place in the Dramamine section!

Hi Jody. Sounds like you may have what is called BPPV - benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. I experienced the same symptoms and went to an ENT Dr and that was what I was diagnosed with. I sometimes get the bed spins if I roll over a certain way or my head is in a certain position in bed. The worst! I have to be careful looking up and down and even turning my head sometimes will make the vertigo kick in. I even get nauseated sometimes and 🤮. Sorry for the TMI! LOL. Crystals in our ears are the culprits. There are exercises to do to move the crystals in your ears. Its called the Epley maneuver. You can google the exercises. It may make you very dizzy but moving those crystals makes a world of difference. But there are different types of vertigo. Do you have BPPV? Or Menieres Disease? Menieres causes dizziness and loss of hearing also. I hope you get treatment for this. It's the pits. TFS your hauls and hope you feel better
Jody you are someone I look to when I’m feeling down and having a pity party for myself. Before your diagnosis, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis June/July 2022 and Hashimoto’s thyroid in Feb 2023…..talk about falling apart after turning 60. 🤦🏻♀️ My immune system and I are not friends anymore…..three autoimmune diseases and I do not want any more. Two new doctors, rheumatologist and endocrinologist. Multiple new meds with some not nice side effects a lot of the time. Then you began having symptoms and problems with your health, hospital stays, infusions etc etc and yet you maintain a positive outlook no matter what. I appreciate you, I applaud you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I started with some not really dizziness…..just feeling off center and off balance…..the end of November. I had a bad fall on Nov 30 and three more falls by the first part of February. I was treated for the crystals in the part of my ears that help with balance. Yep, the rocks in my head were messed up! 🤣 I had three sessions with a Dr of physical therapy. We did VRT…..Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy. Figured out what things trigger my off balance issues and I have exercises to do that will help me recognize and redirect, so I’m not getting as off balance and falling like I was. It’s not a cure, but it sure has helped. My precious Dad had vertigo-BAD! My older sister has had several bad attacks of it. So it seems to run in the family. I certainly hope yours is better/getting better when you read this.

Last year I couldn't even walk by myself or even hold a pen to write. The infusions have helped a lot with my strength. Still bad balance and so much numbness. I had a pitty party for about a month because my life changed so fast, but I grabbed my walker and went to my craft room and thought this disease isn't going to stop me. I no longer need the walker in the house and can walk through the stores now with the cart. Keep the faith !!! 🌸🤗🌺

WOW, time flies!! Great haul!! Those boxes are gorgeous, love the plexiglass sheets. You could Decoupage on that as well. Working on putting together a couple of Decoupage projects after you got me all excited with yesterday's projects. Showed my sister when she came for lunch today and now she's all twitterpated!! Hi Jody & Pea... I hope you feel better soon! We're expecting more storms tonight thru tomorrow and Thurs...they're crazy! I just had my roof replaced a month ago. Yes, they are loud...they started at 6am and were completely done by 4:30 the same day! They did a great job....there was a team of guys, and they worked hard all day! I hope it goes well for you! I finally discovered that taking a Sudafed, or equal, right away stops it. 29 years?😲 In Florida, insurance companies make us put on a new roof every 15 years, or less. That expense is one more reason why I want to move a little further north.😬

Hi Jody, great haul but take care of yourself first. I know how it feels to have horrible dizziness. Mine was caused from too much sugar in my system. Since I have stopped nearly 90% of things with sugar, I feel much better. I know you said you had fluid in your ears. JODY !!! I watched Bella...from Bella's bargains.... she soaked those wooden shaped pieces in water for a short time, and then separated them. There are 5 layers,,, and it softens the wood long enough to make it more pliable to put on a jar etc. I thought it was a great tip ,,, so wanted to pass it along to our group of friends here !!!

Sorry you are not feeling well. I just had Vertigo two weeks ago and it was one of the worst in a long time. I had nausea and could hardly stand up and everything looked like it was going around at a high rate of speed. I have prescription meds to help but it takes days to get over it completely. Could you turn on a radio to drown out the roofers noise . Careful with your out AC unit . A daughter in laws Mother has new roof last year , and roofers swept the roof trash off, into her unit . My son is an AC contractor , and fixed up her unit to get it running again !

Sounds like you have fluid in your middle ear. Try a decongestant for a day or two, see if it helps. If not, then see your primary doctor.

So sorry you aren’t feeling well. I have MS and when I get dizzy…he has me take motion sickness meds like Dramamine. It helps me. I loved how pea just drops the peanut…Thud. LOL. Tfs 😊

Hope you feel better. Dizziness is not fun 😕. I love that size of cranberry drinks. Handy to travel with. I'm with you, love those Landmark chocolates. A hack for the dryer sheets is to take them outside with you at night to keep mosquitos away. Hint....watching fireworks. Wow 2 pair of the socks. So cute. Thanks for the haul. No rush ever. I hope you feel better soon! We're expecting more storms tonight thru tomorrow and Thurs...they're crazy! I just had my roof replaced a month ago. Yes, they are loud...they started at 6am and were completely done by 4:30 the same day! They did a great job....there was a team of guys, and they worked hard all day! I hope it goes well for you! The birds will probably not have a Happy day with the noise....so I hope they recover when it's done.👍

Nice haul, Jody. Love the pup blanker. 👍😀 I've suffered with Vertigo for over 30 years. One time, it was so bad that I had to go to the hospital. I finally discovered that taking a Sudafed, or equal, right away stops it.
29 years?😲 In Florida, insurance companies make us put on a new roof every 15 years, or less. That expense is one more reason why I want to move a little further north.😬

Happy Tuesday! Oh good happy you are ok and safe. I was worried about you on Friday. Those infusions take a lot out of a person. I feel bad for you that you have not been feeling well. That dizziness isn't cool. Hope you don't over do it and get light headed and pass out. Make sure to take care of yourself. Little Pea is something else. He always amazes me. Gotta love him ❤️ 💕. He knows how cute he is and how he can be sassy then give you that I am innocent look that melts your heart to forgive him. Like when he breaks your mugs. I can just imagine how your day goes.
I have been looking for those acrylic boards for awhile. The DT stores by me don't have any. Too funny you got 3 instead of 4. If I find any you know I will get another one for you. I bet all your pets are spoiled. Pea is cute. Wow that's a lot of money at the vet for a nail trim. Luckily, we did not get storms too bad. Hi Jody, great haul but take care of yourself first. I know how it feels to have horrible dizziness. Mine was caused from too much sugar in my system. Since I have stopped nearly 90% of things with sugar, I feel much better. I know you said you had fluid in your ears. I hope it clears up soon or that the doctor can give you something to help get rid of it. Those socks are really cute. Take care, feel better soon. 🙂

JODY !!! I watched Bella...from Bella's bargains.... she soaked those wooden shaped pieces in water for a short time, and then separated them. There are 5 layers,,, and it softens the wood long enough to make it more pliable to put on a jar etc. I thought it was a great tip ,,, so wanted to pass it along to our group of friends here !!!

Sorry you are not feeling well. I just had Vertigo two weeks ago and it was one of the worst in a long time. I had nausea and could hardly stand up and everything looked like it was going around at a high rate of speed. I have prescription meds to help but it takes days to get over it completely. Could you turn on a radio to drown out the roofers noise . Careful with your out AC unit . A daughter in laws Mother has new roof last year , and roofers swept the roof trash off, into her unit . My son is an AC contractor , and fixed up her unit to get it running again !
