- Splash Mountain has officially closed at Walt Disney World and we were there all day to experience all of the madness that occurred throughout the day! We were there at rope drop to see the stampede of guests running to the attraction. We saw the FOUR HOUR wait. We even got to watch the final guests ever to ride Splash Mountain enter the queue for the last time. Splash Mountain is closing to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure!

Splash! That was a wild crowd. Thankfully not in a violent wild, just a whole lot of people. Applause crowds are my favorite type of crowd. What an awesome way to send off the last riders.

This ride always reminds me of my dad and all the amazing times we had riding it as kids.I can still see his face and hear him laughing. He pasted suddenly 7 years ago far too young.
I will be bringing my four kids to Disney in 5 weeks so we just missed the closing. I’m super sad I won’t be able to show my boys the ride I was telling them all about, that granddad loved so much. So Thank you for such a lovely last day and visit with Splash mountain, it had me crying the whole time🥰
SUCH amazing coverage on this Adrian. Loved the interspersing of personal stories, clips, and how it all works. It was incredible seeing management, security, and leads work that queue to keep it moving. Your narration is spectacular as always! SPLASH on!

I was at the park this past Wednesday on a trip and the ride was down all day.
I was there when it first opened but was too young to want to wait for the line. Fast forward to June 2019 and I made my first return back to Disney. Me and my wife rode for the first, and unknown at the time, last time!
Love seeing videos like this, keep up the good work.

Splash! Went to WDW two times and Disneyland one time and I never got to ride Splash Mountain! It was closed every single time we visited. At least now, I can live vicariously through videos like yours. Love you and Koda look forward to seeing your future videos!

It was so nice to see you at the park (I was the guy waving hi to you). I was able to ride Splash Mountain twice but unfortunately had bad luck when it came to the on-ride photo my first ride through (since my face was covered by the person in front of me) so I had to jump back in the 2+ hour line and ride it again. Got a slightly better photo, half of my face was shadowy but maybe it's a sign that Princess and the Frog is taking over.. after all, Dr. Facilier is called The Shadow Man. But anyways, still purchased my photo and still had a fun day. Definitely will never forget, Splash Mountain was one of my favorites not only Disney rides but of all-time.

Was scanning videos of the last day to see if I popped up anywhere and there I am at 27:12 holding the pressed penny sign 😂
I had my last splash on the 18th. I was a little worried because when we first arrived at the park, it was down. Like a pop up in the app with the message about it being closed. Thankfully, they were able to get it open.
SPLASH DOWN!! If I had been the ride operator that night I would have sent out one final empty flume.
We arrived in Florida that day so just missed all the craziness but also not worried since ride itself nor changing will just look different. Splash!
People have become so entitled now, why do they NEED to be last? Like … it’s so harsh on the cast members trying to sort it!

I'll miss Splash Mt, I remember going the year opened (I was 5 years old). I rode it 2 weeks ago and said my goodbyes 😭.... My coworker told me he actually rode it 9 times. He had DAS but did standby as well and said that line was shorter than lighting lane haha
Here’s a crazy idea: If Universal Studios is already paying Disney to keep their Spider-Man and Simpsons rides (Along with other 20th Century Fox and Sony rides), then how ‘bout this:
Universal made a fully animated “The Adventures of Brer Rabbit” movie with an all black cast. If Disney wants to re-theme the ride, then how about re-theme it to that movie?
That way the customers keep the same characters/story despite the makeover, and it’ll be fair if Universal and Disney pay each other for their share of each other’s properties. And also so Disney will be less likely to be seen as a greedy corporation.
So excited for Tiana to get a ride!

I was at the gym earlier today and saw a news story on one of the monitors that people were selling Splash Mountain water on EBay ranging from 99 cents to $1,000!
I was beside myself like this can't be real, right?! Is there really a hype for the water from this ride?
I never had a chance to ride splash mountain. I wish Disney keep splash Mountain open for good for those who never had a chance to ride splash mountain like me. I wish I could buy the ride

This is not just Disney fans who act like that it’s the world we live in now. There are Entitled immature people everywhere
There was nothing bad about the scene. There were just a LOT of people there and everyone was getting different messages. There’s a reason why it was a little screwy. Different cast members were saying different things to different people. Lot of people to corral and direct.
