Something that I think is worth checking and that I have also been told on a number of occasions by people I know in Dubai, is that if you go the property investment route for the Golden Visa, then you do not have the right to work in the UAE. All the other resident perks apply, but you can't use that visa to perform work. May be someone in the comments will know, or can confirm either way?
It says directly in the government website that "The UAE’s ‘Golden visa’ is a long-term residence visa which enables foreign talents to live, work or study in the UAE " - u.ae/en/information-and-services/visa-and-emirates-id/residence-visas/golden-visa
The whole point of getting residency in Dubai is to become a tax resident. So do you have to live in Dubai more than 180 days a year to be a tax resident. So I dont see what a golden visa is doing for you if it only helps you avoid having to be in Dubai more than 180 days. Also Id like to recommend you do a video on Bahrain. It avoids a lot of the problems of Dubai like bad traffic, bad air pollution, high cost of living.
You save money compared to being forced to renew your visa every 2 years through a company. In addition, if you have a golden visa you are treated with greater value in the UAE. There were also perks years ago like an exclusive card which gave you free experiences and big discounts in the country
No, you need to own properties that were bought for a total of 2M. If you own 50% of a property worth 2M, then it's like you only bought 1M. So you should ask your wife to sell you the remaining 50% and then you can sponsor her with your golden visa

This is true. You would still need to apply for a work permit. I have seen this being discussed in many forums.
Yes you would need a work permit just like every other emirati who wants to be self employed. Not a big deal.@mohamedayaz4084
