Listening to your latest Podcast. I’m so sorry your Mum has passed away Adam. I’ve been listening to your podcast for years, me and my partner often listen to your podcast during the weekend with our two lovely dogs. Along with your 6 music days with Cornballs. You portray such honesty and warmth through your ramblings. We love your work and we are both so sorry to hear about your Mum. It’s something we all fear happening to our own parents but I’m so grateful you have shared some of your experience with us. This is probably strangely over familiar but in some ways (very corny) we feel like we know you so well. Joe x

Wow, this is sensational. I was lying on my bed and I had this song in my head, so I typed Adam Buxton into UA-cam and this was the first video that popped up. The animation is so awesome I will never be able to hear Dr Buckles' podcast again without picturing this. Hurrah!

Was listening to one yesterday and heard the word ‘proprioception’. I’ve only heard it from one other source and that was the book ‘thought as a system’ by David Bohm. I think it was pretty much taken from a discussion or talk that lasted a few days.. was videos. Should be under: “David Bohm on consciousness”here on UA-cam. I forget exactly what he said, but introduced the word in relation to the thought process perceiving itself in the same way that the body was aware of its movements. That’s an awful explanation, but It should be subject that you are interested in. Particularly his understanding of the word dialogue.. as opposed to debate. It’s several hours of videotape. Just subscribed!
It's a good word, original meaning is 'awareness of the position of your body in space'. Distinct from spatial awareness, which is for external objects. A gymnast's proprioception would be the most acute.

Talking of your podcast: on Ep.145 you said you asked Tom Cruise a question - about how they get insurance for his stunts, but you never said if you got an answer, and if so, what it was. Is this going to be the next multi-year Christmas story, or could you just tell us please?
Hey Adam, just listening to Ramble chat episode 121 with Louis Theroux and you mention that you can't use FaceTime when not on WiFi. You can change this - On your iPhone, go to 'Settings', then 'Mobile Data' and then find 'FaceTime' and move the slider to allow Facetime to use your mobile data!
