Salamangreat becomes Tier 0 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links with very few counters in the Meta. However we'll be going over all the tiered decks on Duel Links Meta, including Odd-Eyes once of the only decks countering Salad at the moment. And my beloved Burning Abyss of course, barley hanging in at Tier 3.

I was calling for a hit on the new worlds first day. The trap, circle, and gazele is way too much. I could tell that instantly.
I have not been keeping up with duel links lately as I had been too busy with thumbnail designs that I had no idea that Salmon great was dominating the meta as the box just came out little over a week or so ago. This is good as I can not wait to see what the next box will break, hopefully more powerful cards.
I'm very fine with their high consistency, turn 1 negate and recovery. What I absolutely hate about them is the abundance of backrow it has in addition to those.
If they ever need to get hit in the banlist, I'd say they should either put Balelynx and Gazelle to 3 just so they can't run CED and Crackdown without hitting their main play.
Or Balelynx to 2 and Jaguar to 3 to also stop ECon.
They should fire the guy who also thought of paywalling CED and Crackdown while we're at it
Totally agree, but that guy will get a raise insted for how much money he made them

I play Needle sealing in the deck as well, because baylinks save your salamangreat then they just wipe the field lol

@@zzzxxx7294 ok, doesn't change the fact it'll get hit hard. It has F2P cards which means they'll be first hit. I honestly think if it carries on like this the deck will get hit with a limit 2 and 3. Can't have them playing all they crazy backrow and econ

I don't have dd crow so i run 3 copy of that trap card that negate handtrap in my extra deck😂
Just set 4 Key cards to limit 2 and watch them struggle. And this will make the decks more varried.
And no more Econ

why enemy controller is so popular in duel links?
It's really just it's ability to steal an opponent's monster. Salamangreat can put so many monsters on the board that tributing one to take control of an opponent's boss monster and maybe link it away is so good. As a BA player, getting Beatrice stolen from me is almost GG. It's disruption too, like stealing their combo starter/extender. And a little cherry on top is It's other ability to occasionally prevent lethal. The card is crazy with most new decks, Econ is like Treach where any strong deck will use them until they get their Limit 2s
im so afraid salad will got a darklord treatment, imagine new world and the new card will got banned instantly because tier 0
Yeah makes me wonder if they made Roar F2P to potentially ban it if necessary. Recyclable omni negate is the issue here

Roar is a mistake the same as liquid soldier.
Might be a bad opinion, but I dont like salads. I like anymal themed monsters but they look too cartoony. And I have jo idea what their game plan is.

Honestly Salad has just gone and choked out evey deck other than Odd eyes, you see the dark magician and blue eyes evey now and again, Plus I did see a pure Grave keepers deck.
I just finished my salad deck and ik now i have the deck is gonna get nerfed in like a week
Unfortunately it's almost a guarantee to get hit in the future and it will get hit hard. The deck ticks all the boxes and everytime a deck does that it gets ruined. They'll stop limit 3s, they'll stop econ so that means it's getting multiple limits to key cards
