Well he is technically not a living creature- but ya get it😆. Maybe you didnt get to read the very last chapter by a chance? So after the whole big fight and Hua Cheng going poof Xie Lian was alone till the festival him and Hua Cheng met on again after 800 years at the begining of the novel. And on that night one year later after the story's begining they met again with Hua Cheng doing his lantern thing and all. The ending had a wholesome dinner and all that jazz so I'd say it was noice✨〰️✨

You know, you got me at the Hua Cheng rope skipping and sexy legs scene (sexy for real, but the whole body), the gay panic scenes, the fengqing scenes (omg, I shipped them till the last half of the novel. But when Jianlan entered the chat, I was like let's not hurt my beautiful soul Feng Xin, by shipping him with Mu Qing. Especially after I came across the part where his past was written like "He would buy Jianlan for a whole night and would do nothing but chat nonstop." Don't know why but this line made me fall in love with him...) and also at the scene "No one could stop me from loving Pei Ming... Ngl, he is the darling tho a womanizer. I love him!! And I love you for making such an awesome edit on tgcf with Mimimi... This song carries vibes you know... Loving this!!
