She’s shown up here and there, she’s apparently been dealing with some personal stuff- I think she was moving, for one thing, but she did say I think on Twitter that she is planning to get back to streaming on a regular basis, she’s just working out a schedule.

She's not the only talent that's taken a year off due to health or burn-out. Hololive also wouldn't have let her stay on if she was just planning on coasting on royalties; they aren't shy about graduating people that aren't working out, and it's not like she's the only one pulling fans and profit or anything any more.

This is the first time I noticed she accidentally said Australia haha, I understand her though considering how similar they are in English.

In Gura's defense "two" and "to" have slightly different pronunciations in some dialects, where "to" is more like "ta" or "da."

In Gura's defense, I think a more natural way an American English speaker would say this is "1 through 5" or "1st to 5th" rather than "1 to 5"; but still, context clues, Goomba.

In all fairness, some American dialects pronounce "to" more like "tuh" except when referring to the number. It should still only take a moment of thought to realize the mistake, but I can understand the initial confusion.

feel bad for Gura from this ngl it was a normal mistake since kiara pronounced it as if she was saying 1 2 5 tbh, usually you’d shorten the “to” to just a “tuh” sound when saying 1-5

I remember I saw an interesting video by Dr Geoff Lindsey "The Genius of Weak Forms" a commneter brought this incident up.
It pointed out that due to Kiara's German accent she pronounced "to" as a strong form which to Gura sounded like "2", whereas a native English speaker would have used the Weak Form (pronounced more like *tuh* rather than *too*).
It's amazing once one realises the subtleties of the Engish Language which so many native speakers never even notice, but make it such a difficult language to master for non-native speakers.
