Haliegh's case lost momentum and attention because of the Caylee Anthony case, which is such a shame. I firmly believe the girlfriend traded her for drugs and that she got tossed in that river when they were done with her.
I always knew they DID NOT do it! People hated me having that opinion, but I just always knew it wasn't them! Those poor people 🙏

That was so sad but it’s good to hear the truth. I never believed it was the family. Felt so bad for them. My God, if I was young and a single mom with children, the dating type I’d be terrified just so full of mistrust to allow any man near my daughters. This stuff is real and too sickening for words. Wow, I didn’t think the Ramsey’s did it because she was sexually assaulted and beaten. Then they said the brother did it. He was 9 years old! Really? So as the years have gone by I would hear about her again, she’s a little older than my youngest. It really hit home at the time. I was a young mother and thought OMG, what if that happened to my boys? Then there was that guy who said he did it and that guy seemed phony as well. What you said makes sense because these people’s minds don’t work right…..like the police at the time just focused on the parents and wouldn’t even consider the possibility that someone else may have done this. When I heard Patsy passed, I thought her daughter’s death did this to her and I hope she can find peace. I hope they find this guy and prosecute him and I hope her dad and brother can know he’s finally put away. Almost seems like Jon Benet is leading them on this investigation.💜❤💜
Patsy adored her daughter, she loved doing competitions just like her daughter, in the photos, you could see that they were very close, especially the last photo that of the morning of December 25, I never believed that it was the family!!

Ahhhh thank you so much !! 😊 Je savais depuis le début que la famille n'avait rien avoir, quand c'est arrivé en 1996, j'étais gamine mais je me suis dit c'est un type qui est tombé amoureux d'elle, comme obsédé par elle malgré l'opinion publique, je pensais comme vous voyez, je pensais et pense à ses parents, Patsy en est décédée d'ailleurs, comme ils ont du tellement souffrir!! 😢 c'est une situation horrible qu'ils ont vécu et meme accuser son frère Burk...😤.

Growing up I used to live by a university and it was pretty crazy with the college kids in the inner city. People drugs guns everything anyway. The time I lived in was maybe a mile away and we still never locked our doors, It was not a crazy house by any means, but if my siblings friends needed a place to stay for one reason or another, they knew they could just come to our house and the door would be wide open for them.... Now I live the suburbs,I triple lock my doors, bars on the basement windows and there's only three people who have the key to this house. The three people that live here. Times have surely changed.
Isn't crazy how much times have changed? I remember when I lived in Ontario small town, I was able to at 6 years old (not kidding) and wonder around my nabour hood alone at night/day or with friends bike riding and exploring. Doors unlocked for friends etc. There was no need to worrie about kid napping. All the kids sometimes would be at one house and the adults at the other house smoking a joint have beers. Man those were the days when you could be care free no worries but now looking at my my kids now living in a big city, you can't allow that. It's heart breaking cuz this generation has been robbed of the experience we got to experience growing up cuz the population boomed and evil grew crime rates higher. Evil ppl ruin it for others.
@@paradiserose9834 and I am sure if you talk to her parents and grandparents they would say the same thing about our generation that we missed out on so much too. I think it's just how the world is. Each generation misses something that the last generation had.

I never thought they were guilty, at least not in the conventional sense. I kinda thought maybe the boy killed her accidentally and they were afraid of losing him too, which is also very sad. 😢. That poor family truly suffered. 💔

My heart breaks for them too. It definitely cut Patsy’s life short and left John and Burke in its shadow for most of their lives. So horrible.

Love your reads! The story telling! I ended up googling and it looks like a guy named Gary Oliva confessed and was saying things like he was in love with her and it was an accident. Something about head trauma (more descriptive language was used)…He was in jail for kid stuff pictures.

So there's a man whose handwriting is a match for the infamous note- per 3 handwriting experts. He is in prison for child SA. Apparently he had been contacting a highschool acquaintance of his since the night of the Jon Benet tragedy and said he did it. That it was a mistake. That he loved her and didn't mean to kill her but that she 'hit her head' during the assault. He told this acquaintance about it before the news broke about the crime. Said acquaintance called the FBI and they blew him off. He says the guy started writing him and saying all manner of disturbing things along with intermittent phone calls of the same nature. The recipient of these calls and letters says he's tried repeatedly to get law enforcement to pay attention and has been summarily dismissed over the years. But last year an agent finally gave him the time of day and turns out the guy is incarcerated and his handwriting is a match for the note. In and of itself a handwriting match is not conclusive evidence of guilt. But now they have someone whose DNA they can compare with the DNA found at the scene. That plus whatever details he may have acknowledged in his communication via these letters- that weren't released to the public and couldn't be known by anyone but the assailant- would be enough to convict him. The highschool acquaintance who he was contacting says he was always a loner very offputting and a social outcast who was always getting into trouble as a kid. I saw mug shots and footage of this individual and he is indeed creepy. Seems to line up with ur reading. I saw the handwriting analysis and the interview with the recipient of the correspondence on the Law and Crime channel about 4 or 5 months ago. Take a look- I'd be curious as to ur thoughts after laying eyes on this creep @Saje. If u think it's the guy in ur visions. 😉

Is that where you watched it or possibly on the internet? Hopefully if you remember his name that would help. It’s amazing how extremely similar it is to Saje’s reading on JonBent. I’ve never thought that family was guilty. It blows my mind how many people still accuse them to this day even though DNA cleared all family. It never made any sense at all that the family would hurt their own child, write a ransom note then leave her there. Most of the world has tunnel vision. I hope you’re right & he’s caught soon! 🤍
