Mike Harding is Brilliant!!!!- I have an old guitar that was from his early days when he played at a youth club just outside Manchester somewhere!!!!!!!
Lucky enough to have seen this live in Lincoln's theatre royal in 1983. It was brilliant at the time, obviously times move on and ppl need to remember that before commenting.
Forgot how entertaining this man was, multi talented wether Musically or comediac He was the best Saw him on his last tour he did in the 90s nice to hear he is touring again wish he would come south of Watford gap though would love this on DVD any chance of a copy
As a massive Mike Harding fan, I would like to thank you for putting all of this show up! It is bloody brilliant. Somewhere I have got one night at Buxton Opera House... when I find it it will have to go up too! If you like your comedy folk check out our band The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican.
i LOVE the Rochdale Cowboy. He seemed to disappear from television and go to radio, folk music which I really don't like. BUT when he was on television he was the best, the two best I always thought were Mike Harding and Richard Digance. I used to love watching these two. They could both tell fantastic stores, the best ever.
Thanks for uploading this video never seen it before. I've loved Mike Harding since I was a kid he is the best comedian ever!! Does anyone know if the album Old Four Eyes Is Back is available anywhere?
I don't get people commenting on this that can't stand him. What made them want to watch a video of someone they don't like? The stupidity would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.
I used to see him at the folk club in Bury before he was famous. He was quite funny then but I didn't really appreciate it when I was 20. Nice bloke though, wonder if he remembers us? My husband played guitar and his brother Ian played the fiddle. They were quite good !
What has happened to Mike Harding, Is he still touring ? Because when he was on TV I was one of his greatest fans as I've got all of his albums that he has released.
@angelheart757 There's a tape on e-bay now!!! You've got 1 day! ...I'm sure it'll pop up quite often... I keep meaning to update my vinyl collection myself.
@jayjaymedia Saw him in Morecambe 24th Feb 2012 audience of a few hundred and my brothers and i got autographs and shook his hand , what a nice Gentleman. (Made my Lifetime.) I have listened to him since i was 6/7 and i am now 40 and he is as funny today as he's always been. Morecambe was 3rd show from start of new tour and there are more to come if anyone is interested to look out for him. (First tour for 15 years / His own words.) You will enjoy going to see him , if you do , cos we did.
Met this guy in mid 80s on Bowness in Windermere in the Lake District. He was pushing his bike, he stopped and chatted with our family, nice bloke.

@2Touchstone Yes! He's had a folk music show on Radio 2 for years.
