He was interviewed a while back and explained that initially he was only hired as a warm up Act on the Royal Performance and wasn't going to aired because there were other comedy act on the bill. None of the new comics came close to Mick that night. He killed them all. No ego just pure class.
2023 and just saw Mick at a gig last night. Still as funny as heck and a lovely gentleman to talk to to.
I watched this on TV. This was the best performance of the lot - very pleased for Mick that it made the final edit, brilliant sketch !!
