Agree.. although im an old man, I really look at Ren as the new Bob Dylan.. and I think he really is needed for your generation.. gives you a voice.. a beacon of light in what too often is a dark world. I pray for his health so he can continue his remarkable journey.

Fantastic reaction, the song is magic - I love that he throws in the original Verve lyrics at the end (the original was mostly the same, but video of him walking about in Brighton, no singing at the end). I had a similar “familiarity”reaction when I saw his Halftime retake, For Joe, Fred Again Mashup, and Troubles running around my hometown (Calgary, where he was during treatment, and where he’s going at the end of the month).
I think what makes it more emotional is he looks so happy to be home and now we know he has to leave again. It must be a lot to adjust to when he’s put his life on hold so many times before. Love your reactions ❤️

Exactly...well put, Jasmine. We all are having some difficulty knowing what Ren is going through.
I totally get the emotion.❤ Ren has a unique way of connecting us to him and us to others. I've never felt a personal connection like this to any other artist. Never been a "fan" type either. There is something very special and unique about him that makes one care for him like a family member almost. Even though we don't know him😪
It perfectly okay to cry. All of around the world has been shedding tears since we heard the news of Ren's relapse. He was FINALLY back at home with all his mates after 2 years in Canada. Now, he has to go back to Canada at the end of the month and practically start over again. Sending positive energy to you and everyone in Ren's inner circle who has been there since day 1.
The beauty of Ren's mind can be heard in his songs, Dear God or Insomnia. Both are very thought-provoking like most of his music.

Ren has a way of shining the light on dark places many try to ignore and with his talent and wording he draws you in and you have no choice but to listen.. like in the Tales of Jenny and screech he stimulates conversations about a subject that people try to avoid.. necessary conversations because those awful things are sadly a bigger part of our society than we care to realize.. then there is just something about his Spirit that its like he is a becon for all and is lighting a path out of the darkness.

❤❤ - it is amazing how much life has changed since I was born. I used to be sent by my Nan to buy 4 woodbines when I was 4 years old and now Marlboro lites are 10 pounds a pack - is that true, they are much more here in Australia but either way the world is changing so fast so when you hear Ren doing such a great take on a classic like this it is seriously nostalgic
