If you take out the screws and submerge them in white vinegar for a hour or so, use a old toothbrush 🪥 to brush afterwards, it will take the rust off. Also if you use a little furniture polish like pledge, wipe down with a microfiber towel or paper towel even, it will shine up your child hood gun.
