honestly this game is just adding to much and not focusing on player experience enough. recoil update ruined my ability to take on groups like i used to. im 100% solo all the time. game just isnt what is used to be. @@pivano99
I am surprised they haven't considered straight-up Moonshine for the mixing table. Gives a buff to melee weapons but blurs your vision and/or messes with your controls. It stacks but but makes you throw up, severely dehydrating you and eventually downs you due to alcohol poisoning. Would fit the theme and make for some hilarious gameplay!
such a thoughtful comment. just like ale boosts strength but blurs vision and movement speed etc. that would be a awesome idea
i imagine it would be just like how the fridge has been implemented into the game, absolutely useless to craft and incorporate into the build

maybe it blacks you out at the end of the tea duration and randomly teleports you around the map!
As a crippling alcoholic I wholeheartedly approve of this.
as a person that loves farming in rust those teas sound interesting, hopeful they're not gonna be too broken though
most of those tea ideas are call of duty perks you add to your player dont think this is the direction they should focus on

poison tea to put on prim weapons would be interesting, putting it on arrows and handheld weapons and causing more damage maybe even poisioned bullets
The "Immune to Hackers" tea is going to a nice addition. :P

This game has never been about realism. It's been about making a world that feels real for its setting, and has consistent functionality that can help intuit design

@@ChoppyQ1 why is it a stupid idea? i think it makes sense after all this tech we can craft and learn, how come we can't learn to make a recycler? i mean cmon we can make automatic rocket turrets to defend our airspace but not a simple recycler? i think its more stupid that we can't do it. 4 times slower and 4 times less materials acquired than a normal recycler would give sounds a bit harsh, maybe half would do better.
like cmon we can make fully automated factories auto smelters auto everything. but for some reason we can't figure out how to disassemble parts on our own.

I really hope not one of thse ends up in game. It's getting to the point of people just wanting the end result without doing whats required to get there. Just make a plugin that plays the game for you and call it good (NOT REALLY PLEASE DONT).

So what I'm getting from this is the rust team all come together for the big updates but then after that are free to go work on their own things they would like to see in game that then may or may not be added, that's a really cool way of running a development studio

I think T2 cooking is way overdue. However Rust is meant to be a somewhat realistic survival game and I think some of the teas would take away from that. WRT base heating I wonder if they'd consider floor heating. Either T1 heating rug or T2 floor tile panel that represents underfloor heating.
Would love to see the cooking options!
Even though I personally couldn't care less they should add an old recoil tea.

As a player who makes a farm and garage in my main base, a lot of these updates would be exciting! Half of those teas don't think I would want in the game though, the main one that interested me was recycler speed.
The underwater breathing one would be nuts! Imagine wearing full metal while scuba diving

we need more car mods. offroad suspension/wheels, install radio option next to add codelock, optional part slots for turbo/supercharger may be found at junkyard for more speed, revised armored cockpit with camera display and screen opposed to low viz windshield (rip killdozer) car weapon mounts for flatbed so we can RP as taliban, low grade refinement into high grade for faster vehicle performance, and a handbrake for mad drifts etc etc
No they just need to fix some of the stuff instead of constantly adding it
I would love to see them add some enviromental adjustments. So in desert you could run fire items to cause raiders to overheat. Or in the snow have sprinklers cause raiders to freeze.
yeah the teas are a great idea. Like clans arent already unstopable now they will be full metal 3 hours into wipe with faster reload auto healing breathing underwatter and summoning Exodia
I like teas that buff players as long as it doesn't help much in fights, don't like the teas that gives new abilities tho, keep the game realistic.
Warm/Cold biome teas sound reasonable and not game breaking. Literally could be called Hot tea and Iced tea.

As is the double recycle speed one.
But the that's rust now. Everyone gets magic potions. Don't know why they still bother trying to make things look realistic and rusty when you're literally cooking up potions. 😊

Can we just have a special horse skin or breed for shadowfrax? - honestly he deserves it.
I wish they had teas or drinks to just drink just because that you could make. Like maybe let it really boost hydration or make it so you get less hungry. Something! I wana make a bar that sells something other than max health teas lol
They need to fix the new spear skin(it looks great) if you try and make a stone spear you have to unskin it to use as ingredients atm, so its kinda pay to lose tell fixed
The wood is pronounced Say-pull. Its a hardwood used for making doors, windows and furniture as its quite stable. Which means it shouldn't warp in a car which gets a lot of moisture inside.
I so wish they would add a triangle planter box and sheet metal shutters.
Cooking is really cool, and I’m definitely excited for it so please don’t take this the wrong way. I’m concerned that this is another update that incentivizes staying inside your base, as opposed to going out and doing stuff as much. Unfortunately these updates that cause this are all really awesome additions to the game, but we need to do something to get people out of their base more, and causing more of these interactions we love. Be these interactions PvP ones, or RP interactions of a sort.
New teas would make the game a little unrealestic
I like the cliff rework stuff probably the most. Making them more climbable, or maybe a grappling hook tool???
Maybe a tea for horses, but not all the rest. Drugging (Steroids), a horse happens in real life (unfortunately), so makes sense in Rust.
Doubt any of those teas will ever be part of official servers. Only a few actually make sense. Adding one or two new barries would be a good idea. Poison mushroom would be something FP should consider to make gas grenades and poisoned arrows.

Guess I'll need to re-write the cooking plugin again when T2 cooking releases xD
If we dont get the ability to cook corn seeds to make popcorn I will be very very upset. This is something I have discussed with my friends SO MANY TIMES.
Would be nice to work on that hack shield a bit more. That would be nice.

They should've added an electric stove that allows you to have many recipe options for all the foods we have in the game.
A cool thing they could add that would change rust building would be

As someone who loves cooking Tea in Rust i would be delighted by some Additional Teas.
Some of them do sound pretty strong though so i don't know for sure how they would balance these.
At this point add an enchantment table to so you can enchant guns and armor. No better add a revival totem.

I suggested a while back they should have made fishing teas, white berries and green berries , would give a good use to those unused berries
I think the tier two cooking would be a great addition. Doesn’t mess with gameplay to much. I can imagine a lot of people will roleplay as a restaurant

I really think the T2 cooking and teas should be implemented, an area of the game that hasn't been touched in ages!
Have they fixed it so servers are not continously sending loot box data client sided to every player on the server? Would love for ESPing loot to be fixed. Make it so bases actually matter again.

@@TwistedFireX that would be ESP versus player which is harder to fix and yes that exists. ESP versus stationary loot storage data is an easier fix.

We need a tier 2 spear. Craft with frags and wood. Improved durability and slight damage increase.

they could just make it so the ammo stays in extended mags and you can just switch the attachment in your inventory still quicker than reloading
magazenes with unique ammo would be cool

I'm surprised that you still haven't mentioned Alistair changing the status of Armored ladder hatches to planned now.
I love the idea of tier 2 cooking it will allow me to complete my Unger Bunga hunter gatherer play style where I put my my meats in drinks in a vending machine I call “ the light box” and in response it gives me boom powder for my rock thrower so i can continue hunting and gathering
Maybe in the future green berries will no longer be the but of jokes.

im sad the new spear is a wooden spear skin i never use that crap, always upgrade it directly to stone spear or don't bother crafting it at all. i would have liked an actual metal spear, even if it was a skin only item like arctic suit and hobo barrel or even metro subway door.

Currently you can craft a car with four engines which is hella fast. Imagine putting a car tea in all four engines + T3 engine parts..

Maybe along with t2 cooking add eggs, cows/goats and dairy, plus make them and chickens, boars, perhaps even wolves domesticable.
New teas would just make zergs with giant berry farms even more op. Its a terrible idea. How about we add something that helps small groups and solos??

I would like over heating to be more of an issue for players and plants. An AC would be cool..! Also if the heaters changed the temp proportional to a room instead of distance.
