- Hear what fingerstyle guitarist Jesse Smith has to say about his Bob Thompson guitar. Jesse's guitar of choice is a BTO size Thompson; a guitar that's quickly become known as a "little guitar" with a big sound! Find out more at www.bobthompsonguitars.com.
My friend, the awesome jesse smith
Excellent 👍🇺🇸
Jesse is a great player, and he makes the Bob Thompson guitars sing. And now the 2021 champ at the Winfield KS International competition.
Great playing and choice of tunes.
Awesome player, awesome guitar, awesome builder!!
I met jesse at Cabin Fever guitar workshop and he let me play his Bob Thompson guitar. It is the best playing guitar I ever had in my hands and jesse is an awesome player and a great guy. I hope we meet again and pick some. I would love that!
Jesse is so right about how difficult it is to buy Bob's guitars cause they are all amazing and you can't make up your mind which one. I really like them alot
Hello sir
Jesse Smith was my senior carpentry teacher in 2008-2010. Love to get back in touch with him again.
Yeah fuck off.
I had the privilege of playing in a jam with Jesse Smith a year ago this past August. What a guitar picker. He was playing one of these Thompson gutiars. Both bluegrass and oldtime.. Awesome guitar, and an awesome picker that Jesse was.
Bluegrass IS "old time".
Just found this!..Thats my boy!. Even though Im just a lowly banjo player, Ive played 4 of Bob's gtrs and they HONESTLY are 2nd to NONE..Soundin good Bro!
Met Jesse this past week, talked and picked a bit on Thompsons. Jesse is great guy and player; excellent spokesman for these guitars. I haven't bought a Thompson (yet)
Do you own any Martin's? I've had 4...D35, J40M, HD28 and presently own an auditorium size. At 73 now. Been playing since I was 10. Had to downsize . Dreadnoughts just became too large for me to carry around. But, I've had them all, from a Sears and Roebuck , Arias, Yamaha, Gibson..on and on. I found Martin to have the best sound, plus beauty . I did recently play a McPherson at our local music store...loved it. Played and sounded smooth....just not a Martin. I have watched and listened to many videos on the Thompson. Great players, including yourself, have picked them, but, all the guitars sound a little to bright...at least for me. I love hearing you pick. D.o you have any music out?
