I used to feel sorry for Chanderpaul. He was often the one left on his own to try and save or win the match with the tail end batsmen. A truly great player.
I personally think he was better than Dravid though. Shiv's defense was old school, not pretty looking but the determination to not give his wicket was strong and scary.
Chanderpaul has over 10k runs in test cricket, 8k runs on ODIs, Steve Smith and Chanderpaul with unorthodox style, most odd technique shows one can flourish even without proper technique, will is bigger than skill

This guy roots himself on the crease and if the entire WI could master at least 2 players with half of hoopers talent, they would have been scary. I feel bad for him.
