I live and grew up in Unionville so I know the viaduct and tunnel well. The tunnel runs under the road. I hear it every night around 9:30. Seen plenty of them cross this area!
0:21-1:11, I just watched this scene shortly after the announcement that C&O 614 will be restored, and I am already envisioning, or at least imagining, 614 and an excursion consist tiptoeing out across the Tulip Trestle toward either Switz City or Linton/Jasonville. I really hope that the organizational structure backing 614 will enable it to operate on shortlines or regionals such as the INRD who do not necessarily have a long history of hosting excursions, thus allowing fans from different areas to ride excursions closer to them as well as excursionists from all areas being able to see and explore rare mileage.
I believe most weekdays you have the two freights between senate Avenue in Hiawatha Yard. Some days there is also the local from Hiawatha to Bloomington and back but it’s been a while since I’ve been over there so I don’t know for sure what days the local runs. Maybe somebody that lives closer to the line can chime in.
My problem with many of these production companies is that they DO NOT show the whole trains. They are only hurting themselves by doing this. People will choose production companies who DO show the whole trains.
I love this Train video
Glad you like it. Lots of work getting all the shots!
From Indianapolis, Indiana to Newton, Illinois

Hey Railway Productions you guys should film the East Penn RR someday
Who knows, it's a possibility. Big country lots of neat things to shoot.
@@RailwayProductions less and less neat things every year railroad wise.
We’re the sd9043s ever us with the sd70ms?
You know a regional railroad is busy and prosperous when they own or lease modern diesel-electric locomotives.
Yes, the SD90's are about done, but INRD has just released the first newly painted SD70 from the paint shop, really looks great!
Are there any photos of the engine
RIP Switz City tunnel
What engines are those as it crosses 252 in Morgantown?
My hometown btw. Love to see this.
Can you do Rj Corman
Do you know how many INRD trains run across the bridge at Tulip daily?
