I also made the connection to the 8 directions and the 8 trigrams, where we are in the middle symbolized by the number 5, since we have 2 legs, 2 arms and one head, so five limbs in total. The middle is Midgard, the middle of the 9 realms, symbolized by five as where the five elements meet. Going from Mercury to Pluto, there are also 9 planets in our solar system Furthermore, I believe that the 9 numbers fit into the 3-6-9 pattern, which is another rabbit hole altogether, but I really think this is the key to understanding this universal geometry and how God created our world. Do you have an explanation why it is said/considered that 8 produces a myriad of things (not 16/32/64 for example, and then that 16/32/64 produces a myriad of things, why stop at 8)? why we can not say that 4 produced a myriad of things?
