Brilliant video Mike, couldn’t agree with you more about the fox. It’s always great to see this attitude and respect for nature within the stalking community
This is excellent, I'm looking at getting into UK deerstalking myself in the next couple of years so I'm devouring pretty much everything you have on youtube prior to taking the first steps. Also, as an experienced spearo too its good to hear a familiar voice behind your camera. My spearfishing background is actually Indian Ocean based originally, so I've learnt a hell of a lot about UK spearfishing from JP.
What lovely countryside. It is because I'm an Expat from the UK, plus a hunter too, I watch video's like these. I totally agree with you regarding hunting light, but what you had seemed too much! If you are just shooting fallow, a 6.5 is a little over kill and a tad expensive to shoot plus your rifle looked heavy too, especially that massive suppressor. I'm running a Tikka Aspire in 243 win, topped with an Arken EPL-4 and Sytong HT-77 LRF. So, no big heavy range finder bino's to lug around. No sticks either, that's something else to carry; there are plenty of trees to rest on. I do agree in using a good thermal spotter. Some are now available with a built in range finder in it. Plus I'd have dressed the animal down the slope, less chance of contamination getting into the open carcass while dragging it down. The tabogan was a good touch though🙂. I'll be watching more, so keep up the good work.
The 6.5 isn’t overkill on fallow bucks they’re the 2nd biggest of our species after all, I don’t like the price tag though, I stalk commercial forestry so a good set of sticks is essential

Came to the comment section to make sure someone approached the fox topic because if you didn't say it I would have 👌
5:35 He's doing what he's designed to do. Amen brother. Good video as usual. God bless! †
Great to see you making programs for UA-cam again Mike. Hopefully it’ll introduce more people to just how good a source of meat wild game is.
Lovely Video Chef Mike. Appreciate your values and the message your putting out giving respect to animals.

Strepsils, Mike...
Can’t believe that you have to blur the dead deer
I dont have to. I chose to. It was a bit bloody. Just respectful to the animal
