Transplanting a Yucca Plant

This Yucca plant is in our way of where we are going to plant our new Azalea bush and has to be moved. It was a lot of hard work getting all the roots dug up without hurting the plant. I need to keep the plant watered so it thrives in its new location.

Thanks for the video. Was hard to find where a large plant was totally dug up and replanted. Lots of digging in my future if I want the free plant a friend offered me 👍

A thick long sleeve shirt, thick gloves, pants, socks, ankle high or better boots, eye goggles or eye glasses to prevent any eye pokes. The regular desert types have spines that can penetrate the skin & will cause infections requiring antibiotic trearment....but they are beautiful, & most of the different types have edible parts.

It’s good info. Just watched a video where a lady got stitches removing yuccas. Yikes
