Flying is already able to be automated. There already is autopilot but the demand for trust in a human pilot is so great that pilots are still going to be needed.
You can buy yourself a stunt plane and drive people on it, making aerobatics figures. No robot will be able to do it anytime soon. UPD: I also wanna be pilot in the future. But if robots take over civ aviation, then there are lots of creative things to do to get money. And, if there are no customers want to fly on a stunt plane - then you can just fly for yourself, working on another job! If you wanna be a pilot - then you definately love the skies, and it will make even more fun then just autopiloted plane. Good luck with the future job!!!

People had this concern before when computer automation took over in many places such as in assembly lines for example. But when old jobs dissapear new jobs will apear, such as ones that create automation machines, coding, and other aspects such as creating technology, self driving cars and new technologys.

I don't ever believe taxi drivers will become extinct like how cobalt engineers and specialists will not go away in 5 years. Cars are expensive. Very expensive. They can range from the thousands to the hundreds of thousands and if the industry doesn't switch to less expensive (but as good) materials and parts, then taxi drivers will still be alive because there are still people without them. Plus. Computers can have glitches and errors. So I would never trust a computer with my life. That's why you still need to learn how to drive without autodriver by the law.

Cars are expensive. Very expensive. They can range from the thousands to the hundreds of thousands and if the industry doesn't switch to less expensive (but as good) materials and parts, then taxi drivers will still be alive because there are still people without them.
Plus. Computers can have glitches and errors. So I would never trust a computer with my life. That's why you still need to learn how to drive without autodriver by the law.
