I hope my judge deals with me the same way. I have trial date for July 6th for speeding and mine also was 30 mph over. I also don’t speed this fast. The fastest I ever gone is 15 mph over. I didn’t realize I was going 15 + over what I was already going. So having mine dismissed would be awesome. My speed before this incident is 50/45 in my town and 70/60 on the highway and 80/70 on I-81. Now I go 50/45 in my town and 63-65/60mph when on 221. With Bedford it’s 53/50 then 64-67mph when it’s back to 60mph on Lynchburg to Roanoke. When I’m on route 81 to Wytheville, I go 75/70mph.
So clearly ever since my incident, I am driving very close to the speed limit and paying very close to my speed. So I hope, when presented in front of my judge in Bedford, my judge will take note my actions and dismiss my case. I’ve had two tickets prior to this one: 1- reckless (not having control) was due to me not eating which resulted in a accident. Ticket was dismissed, for my lawsuit knew the judge and my case 2- reckless (failure to yield left), in this case I forgot to let a vehicle on the other median pass before making my turn, sadly this also results in a small accident. My first accident resulted in my car and myself, nobody’s car or themselves were around when it happened. Second one however did end a small accident with another car. From this point on, I’ve always followed the yield signs when turning left.
My 1st ticket was 3 1/2 years ago, again, it was dismissed. My 2nd ticket was 2 years ago, I payed it off as soon as I could. I was hoping to make it to 3 years and have it taken off but sadly not.
hope thatit is still an exeption cause in france we have to much of those, charging real agressions (like stabing someone with a knife ) with minimal sentence and even bellow more often than not, even when there are in court for the 5th time and more.
Your honor, you’re a blessing in disguise. I’m in the Midwest but grew up on the East Coast. Your compassion, your experience, your devotion of giving people a second chance is priceless.
Oh man, if all judges had the heart he has, the world would be worth living in. So much respect! God bless you judge Caprio 🙏 Much love all the way from Taiwan ❤️
Writing on Christmas Eve. I was looking for some real life feel-good moments and came here. Judge Caprio makes people feel good every day of the year. Great examples of Pay It Forward. ❣️
This judge pops up on my UA-cam feed every once in awhile and I watch every time because he’s fair and he’s honest and he treats people as human beings and not careless crime makers! Mistakes happen! We are all human after all!
.... Referring to the words from the Judge at the end of this video, I caught what he was doing right away... This is the indication of a very good, wise, compassionate and understanding man.. This boy has to endure the loss of his father after actually unknowingly live in that present moment... Poor child doesn’t know or understand this fully yet, but only for him to be able to grasp what’s going on when it hits him later in life well after suffering everyday and not knowing why... All children, especially young boys need a positive male roll model in their life.. Dad is so important to show his son how to be a real man and provide those necessary tools, which is something they all look up to their fathers for... The excellent example of the judge showing the boy how to properly shake hands and interact is something that the boy will remember for a while... I hope things are good for the mother and son today... I hope she has hit the power ball, and has a loving family that is healthy and fruitful....As wonderful of a man as the Judge is, and as such a beacon and golden example of what all Judge’s should strive to be, Something tells me that he is someone that you would not want to piss off inside or outside of the courtroom... 😬
Sir Caprio if you read this comment, i just want to say... You are the Biggest Hearted Judge and man i have ever seen. May God Bless your Soul Greetz from the Netherlands Bjorn

All the way from Malaysia. I never missed an episode. It's a genuine display of justice, equality and humanity. Funny that I put it this way that - Judge Caprio is never Judgemental. He is fair and emphatic yet you can still see his strictness at the same time. He can diffuse any critical situation and making well-deserved defendants reduce their stresses which is psychologically important. This has earn him a great respect. I see this quality not merely due to his vast experience but most important is his passion. Which has nspired me in a way that when you have passion in what you do, you'll do fine. Kudos to Providence, I envy you to have such a remarkable person. I wish we have more judges like yourself in Malaysia
First impressions are so important. WTG Judge !!! Love this show so much ! Appreciate so many are giving lessons to some day help another !!! Bless your heart
The kid is also being taught another important lesson by the judge - ALWAYS tell the truth. I would love it if Brayden grows up to become a lawyer so that he can be a judge like Judge Caprio.
I wish I would appeal my case. I was given a $50 fine for 1-minute of parking overdue. We ran to our car with our toddlers and we were only 1 minute late and we saw our fine was issued. It was as if the police were already targetting our car and keying all our information and hitting print the moment our meter is up. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
That's America for you. The system is rigged. They love their BS laws because they want as much people in prison or in the system as they can. Its all about the money.
I wanted to cry, I love this Judge!! so caring teaching this young beautiful kid that is loosing his father, showing so much compassion and love, blessings to you!!
This juge is just another level and deserves all of the credit he gets he does what's right at the time it is just amazing to see how a judge gets on with all these people
Aww!! So heartwarming! That man was very sweet to be a judge. But the little boy definitely helped Mommy's case out! That was a sweet little boy wanting to come up and help the judge like that! I wish there were a lot more heartwarming stories like this!🥰💕💕💙
Damn, terminal cancer at what would be a young age. That’s no good. My step dad also had terminal cancer a few years ago but at least he got to a decent age. I hope this young boy grows to be a good man.
The judge is not only judge rather a moral teacher and a care father and a teacher to those who violate the law and feel guilty. He really changes people hear and minds to a much better status. Keep up judge, we love ❤️ you and you are amazing person. One small note, the anger does not fit your high level status and in no circumstances please do not show you are angry.
I glad you did that i bet he will not have a problem looking people in the eye now i did notice when Brandon came up to bench he couldn't look you directly That was a wonderful thing you did even before your final address I thought to myself what wounderful thing to ask him to look you in the eye his life of shyness could be over
She absolutely doesn't need any sentence for this.. She just needs to be assigned a personal life coach. I love you judge. You taught mom more by calling her out in front of her son, than putting her in jail would have done.
We need more judges like this. A judge is meant to uphold the law, but also meant to help those in unfortunate situations. He has a good grasp on that balance.
I am so impressed by this judge. he's the first one that actually has compassion on people and doesn't put money first. My hat goes off to you sir.
That handshake at the end with him having to say "nice to meet you" is a thing that kid will remember for life.
Seeing Judge Francisco deal compassionately with people in difficult circumstances warms the heart. Great work, Sir!

@@jonathancauley5345 I recommend Ubers in your case.
Her circumstances would be alot more difficult if she wraps her car around a tree.
Every defendant can only wish for this judge, a man with understanding and heart.
That something like this still exists is almost a miracle.
He's a wonderful judge and a wonderful human being.
