Does advanzia credit card require residence permit card for students or i can apply with student visa only? how long does it take to get this card after application?

Well most Credit Card Companies require your Residence Permit so Amex might not accept your application. In any case as a new arrival in Germany you will get rejected by almost all Credit Card Providers. Thats why you should look into Gebuhrenfrei or TF Bank first
@ahsanfinance Also, I had a question ... Does using "credit card" increases SCHUFA score and why one must use credit card over debit/girocards. Also tell about ratenzahlung from Klarna/paypal. How can you do as I failed to do that because I had a sparkasse account

@@ahsanfinance I know. My visa has been renewed for three years. They have given me Aufenthaltstitel sticker on Passport. They said they dont issue cards anymore hence at the identification phase advancia says the document isnt valid
Really, 3 year sticker on passport! This is the first time I am hearing about anything longer than 6 months on the passport. May I ask which city and district (kreis) you got this visa from?

I think you should start with Gebührenfrei as your credit score might be very weak. Once you build up your score, then you can try to get another one.

Using a credit card doesnt necessarily increase your schufa score. But it allows you to get a schufa profile built.

Unfortunately visa stickers will not be accepted. You will have to wait for a Card to get this Credit Card

Unfortunately, only residence permit card would be accepted by them. You will get the card once you renew your visa, probably after 6 months
