I am going to go way out on a limb here and say..... the best part of this video began at the 27 minute mark. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of the McC family life, spotlighting your parents, brothers, and general family gathering. I'm sure Mom and Dad are proud of everyone's accomplishments.
Good Evans is a great breakfast spot! And thanks for shining a light on less than quality conditions of the Nebraska camping scene. We've got a long way to go to clean up our state and change the minds of those who abuse those parks.
I’ve watched every lifestyle video over the years, and might I just say. Looking back at the memories and the journey is special. Whether a fancy setup or just a bare silver, the amount of moments you get to take away are incredible. Keep up the great videos, beautiful family
What a beautiful story you folks are writing for all of us to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your adventures and moments with your family. Safe travels to you and happy holiday’s!
Kevin, that had me tearing up at the end. Dang you man! just bravo, what a edit and what a storyteller you is. par for the course with LO though! thanks for the family backstory on the contributions to the story over the years. Congrats to the newly weds :)
You have encouraged my wife and I to take longer adventures. The last one was this past September from Tampa to Glacier National Park and back in 18 days. Over 6000 miles. Stopping off in badlands & Mt Rushmore area for a few days.
We did almost the same. 19 states. 16 days. From the burbs of DC to Yellowstone for a week there and then back through many of the same highways that were in this video. My wife's first time ever out in that area. She described the trip as "epic" and "adventure"!
Next time you come pass thru Missouri on I-44 we now have a Buc-ee’s in Springfield. Every UA-camrs favorite. Spoiled by living here. We went tonight per our girls request and then headed out to check out some Christmas lights around town. Texas cheesesteak burrito and brisket sandwiches are excellent! And of course you have to get some Beaver Nuggets. Such a good time making family memories tonight.
If traveling across Nebraska check out the Wilderness Wildlife areas for quick overnight stops. I've found them to be free and usually not far off our planned route.
Congratulations to you brother and his wife on their marriage. May they enjoy many, many years of happiness together. It was fascinating to learn that your brothers have contributed to your channel, including the animation and great music that all fit so well with the channel's character.
Been watching for years, ever since I saw that Roane County tag. From your neighbors in McMinn County, keep the stories coming and we will keep an East Tennessee light on for you.
Thanks for sharing the good and also the challenging times with us all - keeping it real means a lot. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2024. ❤
Caroline at a lot of steps, she will soon catch up with her mother! Abigail is a cute little angel. A lot of happiness for the newlyweds and the whole family. Kisses from France😗😗
I’ve stopped at that same breakfast place a few times when blasting through NE. Always a good meal and coffee there! Go to Ollie’s Big Game Steakhouse in Paxton sometime… It’s… a trip.
Wonderful video 😊 wish your brother happy life ahead and merry Christmas to your entire family pray God to bless your family a wonderful happy worry less 🤗 life ahead 💕 stay healthy god bless you.
Just to add some experience with falken tires, I do love them and have 3 sets on difference vehicles. Most of my experience with tires comes from “track/motor sports” so take it with a grain of salt. I’ve witnessed falken rt660 delaminate and have the tread splice several times. I currently have a set showing signs of treat splicing which is not nearly as dangerous as a delamination. I have a set of at3w that are totally fine and a set of 510 that are also great. I have some friends that will not run Falken because delaminating is a real issue on track. I would just watch for it in the future. Great video as usual! ✌️
nothing like a big southern outdoor feast...looked awesome...I'm in Missouri and curious where you stayed...looked like Mark Twain lake area...love the whole rig and it's so cool that the whole family is along
Absolutely loved this one you guys. 💖 I can't believe how big Caroline has got since the start of your recordings. The Baby seems right at home too. What a beautiful Lake scene you had. I'm guessing Lake of the Ozarks? Finally, seeing all the family together like that, just warmed my heart. Congrats to the newlyweds!
This one might be my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing your family and adventures with us. I will likely hit you guys up on IG with some questions about the GX and the towing of the new trailer.
I have the Toyo open country R/T trail tiers on my truck and I love them. There not to loud at all and the tread is just a little bit more aggressive and wider gaps between the tread then an all-terrain tire. And I’ve been in snow, mud, sand, soft dirt and heavy rain and with that heavy rain, a lot of standing water on the road with zero issues of hydroplaning. The only thing is win the road is wet you do feel the tire slip a little bit and I’m pretty sure it’s to do with me having a diesel truck with all that torque and my drive tires been at 80 PSI. I have my drives at 80 PSI because I pull a heavy trailer often, but I am very confident if I drop my tire pressure down to 60 psi on the rear tires, it would help tremendously. But to be honest with you, I kind of felt the same thing with all-terrain tires I just can’t be sure. But other than that I am extremely happy with them and I would buy them again with no questions asked.
Another thing about the Toyota trails is there not as heavy as a Toyota, open country M/T tire and lighter then the traditional Toyo Open country R/T tire. Toyo open country R/T trails. Have a two ply sidewall, but they’re extra thick so you get the benefits of a sidewall without the weight.
Been watching for years and now we watch with the grandkids when they come over 👍 Please folks, don't change a tire on the side of the road, so dangerous. I tell everyone I know, it's only a tire, I don't care if you shred the thing driving to a safe spot, it can be replaced, it's only money...
I understand where you're coming from but have you ever driven I80? We wouldn't make it to the next exit with a wheel left. Fairly spread out traffic so people had plenty of time to move over for us. 👍
I had to look at a map, we have exactly 9.1 km's of travel on I 80 at Rock Springs WY travelling to Moab😎. We had two people killed in separate tragedies here in the Edmonton area in recent memory, it left a mark I guess, scares the crap out of me. Have a merry Christmas! @@LifestyleOverland
Having an OGT expedition trailer and after 2 years of overlanding with it, trust me when I say you want a spare for the trailer and the tow vehicle, especially if you are Off-road. Figure something out in the front of the trailer like moving the propane tanks soomewhere else but put that spare tire on it. Insurance!
I'm hoping I got Murphy off my back at this point! We actually specifically requested no spare and dual tanks because in 10 years of off-road travels we've only had 1 quality, load range E tire fail. And of the load range C's, we were able to repair. I'm gonna keep up the strategy and hope the blow out was a fluke! (Worst case, it's fun content, lol)
This was a nice change of pace in your video and "meeting the fam! Congratulations on your brother's marriage. With regard to that bumper jack? Invest in a heavy duty scissor jack. You don't have to lift the whole vehicle up so high. Safe travels North!
I live in Iowa and travel I-80 to get to these days Wyoming and beyond to camp. There are virtually no places to disperse camp until you get to Medicine Bow national forest. I wish there were better accommodations across Iowa and Nebraska. The entrance fee many of these state campgrounds charge are ridiculous.

Thats the same with several areas in Oklahoma, we have several beautiful state parks. Some are incredibly well kept, some are ran down and full of methamphetamine enthusiasts whos drink of choice is natty light.
Lexus recommended but you'll break the Internet when asking if it's really necessary. We see better fuel mileage and power which is important for towing. Ends up being about 1 penny more per mile after it's all said and done.
@@LifestyleOverlandI got about 40K on my Dodge Ramcharger daily driver but the siping on the MT’s were shallow and didn’t maintain their traction longevity in the northern NM winters when plowing snow. Good life and kept good balance and quiet are the good things I can say.

if you look on google maps, on I-10 between Lake Charles and Iowa, LA at the intersection of road 3256 and frontage road, you'll see my addition to the map. BLOWOUT BEND, with pictures of my GX sitting on the smallest shoulder on earth with the rear ds tire blown to bits...it aint cool lol
Jacking stands are handy at times, but buy a good one, not the cheapest. I’ve blown seals out of the budget brand at half the max load. Still makes a stout stand………
Boy, I was worried about your family being on the side of the road like that changing out the tire. Ive heard stories of horrific accidents of people who were caught on the shoulder of a hwy and got hit by a truck. Not gonna lie. Held my breath just watching it. I always tell my wife if she ever experiences a blowout try your best to get off the hwy at the next exit. A messed up rim is better than being in an accident.
I hear ya. Not sure if you've driven i80 but it was over 10 miles to the next exit and we would have lit the prairie on fire by the time we got there. Thankfully it was a very visible spot with less traffic than most areas.
