I got the Grey Ghost album in the mail from Columbia House back in 1979 and I still have it, I'll never get rid of it. It's perfect.

People want to say this and that about the band, it's members, but if you listen, watch and understand Henry Pauls goal, it is simply to continue playing the music and carry on the Outlaws name... Happy he does! SO darn good! Thank you for the recording.

This isn't an Outlaws song. It's from the Henry Paul Band.

Correct. Henry. Paul bills his current band as “The Outlaws” so I guess you could say it’s The Outlaws covering a Henry Paul Band song. I go into more detail if you click the More Info button.

@@DaveYoho Since David Dix does not appear on the first three albums. Nor was he with the Outlaws the first three times i saw them dating back to 1975. David Dix was absolutely an integral part of the Outlaws, but in my opinion Monte Yoho is THE original Outlaws drummer.

Imo, Henry is not original Outlaw. The Outlaws were founded in 1967 by Hughie Thomasson, Dave Dix and many others. Henry joined the band in 1972.

Next time get a professional crew to record…. Great performance by the band on a great Henry Paul Band song about legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd band…. I wanted to see the riffs not some camera guy looking at the back of a rhythm guy… other than that if I just listened to the performance A+ 😊

Caught some of the band members including Henry Paul outside, but they looked exhausted so we gave them a quick hat tip and a thank you on the way out.

OK, great guitar players yes, but they do not play in the spirit of southern rock guitar. These new note ripping progressions kind of defeats what Fish and Crain did from the beginning. My 2 cents - still "sounds" good - but SR guitar is not ripping through progressions, they are carefully constructed leads without a lot of blistering finger work.
